<p><strong>NH90 Filter Board / Change Board Manager (m/w/d) - HELICOPTERS</strong></p> <p>We have on offer, a superb contract position to "make a difference" working with Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH located at Industriestr. 4, 86609 Donauwörth, South Germany. You will work in a transnational department made up mainly of avionics architects<br /> (m/f/d) who are responsible for various civil and military helicopter projects. You will work closely with other architects (m/f/d) and interface with the stakeholders in the fields of avionics, vehicles, projects, safety, certification and have customer support.</p> <p>The main tasks of the Avionics and Systems Architecture department include:</p> <ul> <li>Anticipating future needs and possible avionics solutions, from concept analysis to</li> <li>Feasibility during the research and pre-development phases</li> <li>Ensuring the retrofitting and upgrading of our deployed fleet</li> <li>Keeping our avionics up to date (solving aging issues,</li> <li>Avionics improvements, introduction of new capabilities/functions) as part of future developments</li> <li>Definition, development and certification of the most effective avionics solutions</li> <li>Participation in the avionics strategy at system level</li> <li>Participation in technology roadmaps</li> <li>Participation in the development of systems engineering for avionics (process, methods and tools) and management of cross-divisional functions</li> </ul> <p>The job holder works as NH90 Filter Board / Change Board Manager (m/f/d) and takes over<br /> the following tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Capture stakeholder requirements</li> <li>Specification and maintenance of the requirements assigned to the system</li> <li>Define the testing perimeter for each version</li> <li>Review of test procedure documents and test results provided by test teams</li> <li>Follow up on problem reports (participate in filter boards, follow up on resolution, request for repeat tests, etc...)</li> <li>Participation in the drafting of qualification documents (writing, proofreading...)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personal requirements</strong><br /> Strictly methodical in daily tasks<br /> "Customer Satisfaction" oriented<br />  "Open-minded" and "problem-welcoming" attitude<br /> Dynamic and with a strong “team spirit”<br /> Ability to work in complex environments and easily manage priorities/urgencies<br /> Be transparent and report a problem as soon as it appears<br /> Positive and constructive<br /> -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- --<br /> This position is opened in the "Avionics and Systems Architecture" Department within the Design Office<br /> Directorates. You will work in a transnational department, composed mainly of Avionics Architects spread over<br /> Different civil and military helicopters projects, in close cooperation with other architects and be interfaced<br /> with avionics, vehicle, projects, safety, certification, and customers support stakeholders.<br /> The main missions of the Avionics and Systems Architecture department are, among others, to:<br /> Anticipate future needs and possible avionics solutions, from concept analysis up to feasibility during<br /> Research and Pre-Dev stages<br /> To ensure retrofit & upgrades of our fleet in service<br /> To keep our avionics up-to-date (obsolescence solving, avionics improvements, introduction of new<br /> capabilities/features), in the frame of future developments<br /> To define, develop and certify the most effective avionics solutions<br /> To participate to avionics strategy at system level<br /> To contribute to technology roadmaps<br /> To contribute to Systems Engineering set-up for Avionics (process, methods & tools) and<br /> To manage transverse functions<br /> In this department you will be part of the NH90 architecture team, in which you will act as "Filter Board /<br /> Change Board Manager".</p> <p>Your duties will be to:<br /> Collect stakeholders needs<br /> Specify and maintain requirements allocated to the system<br /> Define the test perimeters for each release<br /> Review the test procedure documents and the test results provided by test teams<br /> Follow-up of problem reports (participation on filter boards, follow-up of solution, request for retests, etc....)<br /> Participate to qualification documents elaboration (writing, proof-reading ...)<br /> Manage the avionics change management boards (filter board, change board, dashboard)<br /> Participate to the post qualification PR management boards for the in-service fleet</p> <p>Please submit the CV in English and German !!<br /> <em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified<br /> taken into account.</strong></em><br /> <br /> <strong>Required work experience</strong><br /> Engineering at least over 5 years</p> <p><br /> <strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Office at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> doors at least in-depth application knowledge<br /> wind chill<br /> cameo</p> <p><strong>Required linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> German at least basics (if not held, quickly take a online crash course in German) <br /> Business fluent English</p> <p><strong>Required educational studies</strong><br /> Master's degree in Avionics or Electronics or Systems Engineering or equivalent</p> <p><strong>Required other qualifications</strong><br /> Experience in Agile/Scrum methods</p>
