<p><strong>System Engineer for Cabins and Communication Systems - Hamburg (m/f/d)</strong></p> <p>We have an unexpectant repeat request for a System Engineer for Cabins and Communications Systems, based in the exciting city of Hamburg (just over 1 hr flying time from Heathrow). This is a rare and unique opportunity, for Systems Engineers who wish to work on the world's most advanced aircraft.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Job description and tasks</strong><br /> The job holder (d/m/f) works as a system engineer for cabins and communication systems and oversees the entire product life cycle process.</p> <ul> <li>System development according to the Airbus process DE.SO.02</li> <li>Assess the impact of introducing new features</li> <li>Definition of functional and system specifications for Airbus suppliers using a model-based (MBSE) or requirements-based methodology (RBE) leading to the expected network/system performance and software robustness under all deployment conditions</li> <li>Software design follow-up at suppliers</li> <li>Participation in project teams</li> <li>Support analysis and assessment of problems encountered during test campaigns and occurred in the field during flight operations, as well as ensuring continuous optimization measures</li> <li>Questioning the current design processes by proposing new digital concepts and innovative solutions</li> <li>Implementation of new solutions including proof of concept, development of</li> <li>Demonstrators and introduction of definitive solutions</li> <li>System and software integration of our products in Airbus aircraft</li> <li>Wireless & IoT Technology / IP Network Architecture</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personal requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Willingness for occasional business trips</li> <li>Team player</li> <li>Good communication and presentation skills with a strong customer orientation</li> <li>Strong interest in continuous learning and in the development of new technologies and products</li> <li>Structured way of thinking and working</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified<br /> taken into account.</strong></em></p> <p> </p> <p><em><strong>Please note that we accept CVs older than 3 months at the time of offering<br /> cannot take into account</strong></em></p> <p><br /> <strong>Required educational requirements</strong><br /> Electrical engineering at least Bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> Computer science at least a bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> Business informatics at least Bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> System technology - at least bachelor's degree<br /> Communication technology - at least a bachelor's degree<br /> Computer technology - at least Bachelor's degree<br /> work experience<br /> IT / information systems at least over 3 years<br /> System technology - at least over 4 years</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Excel at least in-depth application knowledge<br /> MS Word at least in-depth application knowledge<br /> doors at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> Google Workspace (G Suite) - at least in-depth application knowledge</p> <p><br /> <strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> German at least well versed (for those without, quickly take a on line German course - send proof of registration)<br /> Business fluent English</p> <p><strong>Required knowledge</strong><br /> Cameo - at least initial application knowledge</p> <p><strong>Required additional qualifications</strong><br /> Very good knowledge of Airbus processes and requirements ABD100, ABD200</p> <p><br /> <strong>Other qualifications</strong><br /> Knowledge of Airbus processes (DE.SO.02 process) - at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> Requirement Based Engineering - at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> Knowledge of simulation and the state of the art of software architecture - at least knowledge<br /> of detail functions<br /> Implementation of IoT MGC architectures (embedded devices-> gateways->cloud) - min.<br /> in-depth application knowledge<br /> Knowledge of simulation and the state of the art of software architecture - at least knowledge<br /> from detail function<br /> Knowledge of LEAN/AGILE methods is an advantage<br /> Solid knowledge of cellular standards (4G, 5G) and wireless/<br /> IoT communication technology (e.g. WiFi 5, WiFi 6(E)) and general knowledge of<br /> communication protocols</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Legal</strong></p> <p>Ideally you hold a valid EU passport (if not, we will sponsor excellent candidates for a work permit)</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Other information</strong></p> <p><a href="https://www.hamburg.com/welcome/" rel="no-follow">Hamburg Welcome Portal - hamburg.com</a></p> <p><a href="https://www.tourism.de/german-north-sea-coast/" rel="no-follow">German North Sea Coast - tourism.de</a></p> <p>If interested, please send full details of your experience, your availability and your present salary.
