<p><u><strong>Designer for design Engineer for Test-rig Setups</strong></u></p> <p>We have a great job based at the famous Airbus Operations GmbH Hamburg-Finkenwerder facility, in North Germany. Hamburg is a great city to be located in, with easy reach of the North and East sea coast. This would be a great opportunity for anyone who wishes to step up to the next level.</p> <p><strong>Job description and tasks</strong><br /> The job holder (d/m/f) works as a design engineer for test setups in the department</p> <ul> <li>Structural Test and is in this process for providing the test fixtures for</li> <li>Responsible for test components of all sizes.</li> <li>Analysing the task and deriving a mechanical test concept that</li> <li>Interaction with the test component and the other test facilities is taken into account</li> <li>Design of the complete test device (including the integration of non-mechanical components)</li> <li>Integration of the test component or derivation of a test component from the series design</li> <li>Dimensioning of the test setup and the interface to the test component</li> <li>Carrying out the required mechanical evidence (possibly including FEM calculation)</li> <li>Creating the detailed construction and the set of drawings, as well as preparing the production</li> <li>Instruction of the production regarding test components and assembly or</li> <li>Test component integration, as well as supervision of the commissioning of a test device</li> <li>Specification and outsourcing of all aforementioned activities and support of the suppliers up to to delivery</li> </ul> <p>Participation in and support for reviews of the project status and management of the sub-projects<br /> -Experimental device- as part of the experimental process</p> <p><strong>Personal requirements:</strong><br /> Strong communication skills to deal with contacts at all levels to work together<br /> Independent, structured and result-oriented work in order to plan appointments on time,<br /> Coordinate work processes efficiently and achieve goals on schedule<br /> Analytical thinking, quick understanding of systems and processes<br /> Independent way of working</p> <p><br /> <strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified considered.</strong></p> <p><br /> <strong>Please note that we do not accept CVs older than 3 months at the time of offering<br /> may take into account!</strong></p> <p><br /> Estimated interview dates are planned for week 3.<br /> <br /> <strong>Required Studies</strong><br /> Civil engineering at least Bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> Mechanical engineering at least a bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> preferably specializing in construction engineering</p> <p><strong>Required work experience</strong><br /> Calculation of statics at least over 2 years<br /> Engineering at least over 2 years<br /> Jigs & Tools at least over 2 years<br /> Construction at least over 4 years<br /> Mechanics at least over 4 years<br /> Measurement technology at least over 2 years<br /> Project management at least over 2 years<br /> Professional experience in steel construction / welded constructions required</p> <p><strong>IT</strong><br /> Catia V4 at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> Catia V5 at least detailed. special skills<br /> Google Workspace desirable</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> German would be of advantage<br /> English at least well versed</p> <p><strong>Required knowledge</strong><br /> Airbus experience an advantage</p> <p><strong>Required other qualifications</strong><br /> Experience in using Eurocode 3 desirable<br /> Experience in finite element programs, e.g. Ansys required<br /> Fatigue experience required<br /> Calculation of metal and fiber composite structures<br /> Knowledge of metal and simple fibre composite components and assemblies desirable</p>
