<p><u><strong>Configuration Manager (System Engineering Support) (f/m/d)</strong></u></p> <p>We have a great contract position for a Configuration Manager (System Engineering Support) (f/m/d) for our customer Airbus Defence and Space (AIR SAT), located at Taufkirchen in beautiful South Germany. This will be of interest to those who wish to work at the highest levels, with a interest in winter sports.</p> <p>The jobholder works as a Configuration Manager (System Engineering Support) (f/m/d) and the main<br /> tasks are:</p> <ul> <li>Coordination and implementation of the CADM plan as well as the necessary configuration processes</li> <li>Project data management in PDM (e.g. PTC Windchill) Elaboration of project-related control</li> <li>Procedures in coordination with project management and further development of existing processes using the latest data technology.</li> <li>Coordination and supervision of subcontractors with regard to compliance with the configuration processes.</li> <li>Support internal and external configuration management audits.</li> <li>First point of contact for internal and external change management inquiries.</li> <li>Definition of configuration baselines with regard to functional requirements, developmental verification and production implementation, description of configuration parts (CI), support of all project reviews in phases B, C, D and E.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personnel requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Team player with very good communication and presentation skills</li> <li>Reliable and service oriented way of working</li> <li>Proactive, especially concerning the identification and implementation of improvement ideas and the introduction of new digital processes, methods and tools</li> <li>Ability for analytical thinking / problem analysis</li> </ul> <p><em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified</strong></em><br /> .<br /> <strong>Required educational Studies</strong><br /> Engineering at least Bachelor's degree</p> <p><strong>Required work experience</strong><br /> Configuration Management for at least 3 years<br /> Proven experience in complex space projects (preferably ESA projects) is necessary<br /> Proven experience in transnational collaboration are required<br /> Proven experience in managing export regulated data are required</p> <p><br /> <strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Office at least detailed. special skills<br /> Knowledge in PDM would be a plus</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> German would be of advantage<br /> Business fluent English<br /> other languages (French or Spanish) is an advantage</p>
