<p><strong>FCAS2023 Design Engineer (f/m/d) - complete aircraft concepts - German not required</strong></p> <p>Based at Airbus Defence and Space (AIR MAS), in beautiful South Germany, on offer is a great job for new complete aircraft design concepts.</p> <p>The Design Engineer (f/m/d) is responsible for the Design of aircraft overall structure and structural<br /> components embedded in the airframe development process. The jobholder (f/m/d) works as a FCAS2023 Design Engineer and the main tasks are</p> <ul> <li>Design of aircraft concepts</li> <li>Structural design of parts, components and installations in close cooperation with internal and external disciplines (e.g. stress, production, aerodynamics)</li> <li>Provision of 3D models and drawings in CAD (CATIA V5, 3DX) in compliance with internal and external guidelines and procedures</li> <li>Bill of material and data management</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personnel requirements:</strong><br /> team player<br /> Proactive, independently and accurately way of working<br /> Enthusiasm in military aviation</p> <p><br /> <em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified and taken into account.</strong></em><br /> <br /> <strong>Required educational studies</strong><br /> Aircraft construction at least a Master's / Diploma degree<br /> or<br /> Engineering at least Masters / Diploma degree<br /> or<br /> Aerospace at least Master's / Diploma degree<br /> or<br /> Bachelor degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar with minimum 3 years of<br /> experience</p> <p><strong>IT</strong><br /> Catia V5 at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> Experience with CAD design tools (3DX, DDMS, PDM, VPM)</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> Business fluent English<br /> German knowledge is a plus</p> <p><strong>Required work experience</strong><br /> Experience in aircraft structural designs and airframe development processes</p>
