<p><strong>Systems Engineer in the Development of Liquid Hydrogen Systems (m/f/d) - 2 year Contract</strong></p> <p>We have a rare and prestigious opportunity to help Airbus Hamburg develop, a key technology for the next generation of civil aircraft. If you have the ambition, then we have the job for those ready to step up to the level, based in Europe's most liveable city. </p> <p><strong>Job description and tasks</strong><br /> The job holder (d/m/f) works as a systems engineer in the development of liquid hydrogen systems.</p> <ul> <li>Ensuring the program goals (cost, time and performance)</li> <li>Coordination of activities related to the validation of technical solutions</li> <li>Representing the team in program events</li> <li>Ensuring communication to all interfaces in the design team</li> <li>Task scheduling and tracking</li> <li>EVM (Earned Value Management) - Ensuring and delivering the results from the design team</li> <li>Comparison of costs and resources in the team</li> <li>Creation of subcontracts</li> <li>Team coordination</li> <li>Advising the team on the development process (Verification & Validation; system design and test DESO 02.01 )</li> <li>Deputizing for the work package manager (e.g. Multifunctional Team / Integrated Project Team)</li> <li>Editing presentations (product review meetings, retrospectives, etc)</li> <li>Prepare group meetings</li> <li>Airbus Operational Planning Support</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personal requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Quality and performance-oriented, as well as responsible way of working</li> <li>Independent, structured and proactive work</li> <li>Good communication skills to work with contacts at all levels</li> <li>Flexible willingness to travel for business, approx. 1x month, Europe-wide</li> </ul> <p><em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified<br /> taken into account.</strong></em></p> <p><br /> <strong>Please note that we do not accept CVs older than 3 months at the time of offering may take into account.</strong></p> <p>Expected interview dates are planned for week 32.</p> <p><br /> <strong>Educational qualifications</strong><br /> Comparable qualifications, at least a master’s/diploma degree<br /> or<br /> Aeronautical Engineering at least a master's/diploma degree<br /> or<br /> Engineering at least Masters / Diploma degree<br /> or<br /> Mechanical engineering at least a Master’s / Diploma degree</p> <p><strong>Required work experience</strong><br /> Engineering at least over 3 years<br /> Project management at least over 3 years</p> <p><br /> <strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Office at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> Google Workspace</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> German at least basics (applicants could registrar for online German course and send confirmation of registration)<br /> Business fluent English</p> <p><strong>Required knowledge</strong><br /> Airbus experience mandatory</p> <p><strong>Required other qualifications</strong><br /> In-depth knowledge of the system and component development process ABD<br /> Systems development experience is a MUST</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Legal</strong></p> <p>Ideally you hold a valid EU passport (if not, we will sponsor excellent candidates for a work permit)</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Other information</strong></p> <p><a href="https://www.hamburg.com/welcome/" rel="no-follow">Hamburg Welcome Portal - hamburg.com</a></p> <p><a href="https://www.tourism.de/german-north-sea-coast/" rel="no-follow">German North Sea Coast - tourism.de</a></p> <p>If interested, please send full details of your experience, your availability and your present salary.
