<p>We have a wonderful contract located in South Germany, with Airbus Defence and Space (AIR MAS) working on Airbus Defence and Space (AIR MAS). Are you ready to step up to the next level, and enjoy a international career ?</p> <p>The job holder works as a S<strong>ystem Engineer - Flight Management Systems (d/m/f)</strong>. <br /> The area of ??responsibility is broken down in detail as follows:</p> <ul> <li>Concept and architecture engineering for flight management systems</li> <li>Design and development of FMS and automation functions to support the integration of RPAS into general airspace</li> <li>Design and development of flight guidance functions.</li> <li>Management of suppliers and subcontractors specification and management of verification and validation activities, including laboratory, ground and flight tests</li> <li>Support for standardization and certification activities international regulatory bodies and agencies.</li> <li>Contribution to support in service</li> <li>Participation in research activities</li> </ul> <p>The role has a large number of interfaces, including key multinational suppliers,<br /> other aircraft systems teams, laboratory and flight test teams, aircraft programs<br /> and support teams. This requires the ability to work as part of large multi-national teams<br /> work, flexibility, technical know-how, opportunities for persuasion and influence as well as<br /> good project management skills.</p> <p><strong>Personal requirements:</strong><br /> A high level of motivation and commitment<br /> Willingness to work and travel in an international team</p> <p><em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified<br /> taken into account.</strong></em></p> <p><br /> <strong>Required educational requirements</strong><br /> Engineering at least Bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> Aerospace at least Bachelor's degree</p> <p><br /> <strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Office at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> Knowledge of design and simulation tools (e.g. Matlab/Simulink, SCADE)</p> <p><br /> <strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> Business fluent English<br /> Knowledge of German is an advantage</p> <p><strong>Required work experience</strong><br /> First experience in systems engineering<br /> First handling of flight management systems or similar<br /> Experience with UAV/RPAS (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle/Remotely Piloted Aircraft System) is from<br /> advantage</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Conditions, benefits</strong></p> <p>Hours 35 hrs week / 152.5 hrs + paid holidays + 50% medical paid + 50% al social deductions </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Legal requirements</strong></p> <p>Ideally a EU passport, if not, a work permit will be applied for.</p> <p>This position is covered by a "secure hiring process", so expect to be asked detailed questions about your back ground because of the security connected to this position.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Tourist information</strong></p> <p><a href="https://www.minube.co.uk/travel/germany/bavaria/manching" rel="no-follow">Travel to Manching : Trips to Manching (minube.co.uk)</a></p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
