About this role
<p>Working in South Germany's largest OEM, in beautiful South Germany, are you ready to step up the next level ?</p> <p>Eurofighter Typhoon is the world´s most advanced swing-role combat aircraft providing simultaneously<br /> Deployable Air-to-Air and Air-to-Surface capabilities. Airbus Manching is acting as the main contractor<br /> within the industrial Pilot Synthetic Training System consortium. Combat Training Systems department<br /> develops state-of-the-art simulator EF simulator systems. Long term, multinational, large scale system of systems programs are the best place to learn and perform systems engineering activities.</p> <p>The jobholder (f/m/d) works as a Systems Engineer/Project Manager (f/m/d) and the daily activities<br /> are:</p> <ul> <li>Capturing customer and RFP requirements, generating corresponding solutions and producing technical specifications</li> <li>Planning and schedule definition for Airbus engineering activities</li> <li>Planning and management via PBS and WBS</li> <li>Creation of work package descriptions, estimating resources</li> <li>Planning, coordinating and performing technical reviews</li> <li>Development of engineering plans (SEMP, TMP, Requirements Management Plan, Acceptance plans, etc.)</li> <li>Continuously monitoring progress, ensure timely resolution of technical issues and lead engineering change management including customer requests acceptance/rejection</li> <li>Identification and planning of the engineering resources related to the engineering work packages and verify availability of resources with engineering managers</li> <li>Plan and monitor the qualification/acceptance of the product.</li> <li>Continuously try to find agile and lean ways of performing engineering activities</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personnel requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Independent, result-oriented and responsible way of working as part of an international team and in a multinational project environment</li> <li>Experienced in understanding the needs of military customers and how to perform acceptance in system projects that are heavily driven with heavy documentation</li> <li> Work experience in multi-company/multi-national projects</li> </ul> <p><em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified<br /> taken into account.</strong></em><br /> <br /> <strong>Educational studies</strong><br /> Informatics at least a Master’s / Diploma / Bachelor degree<br /> or<br /> Engineering at least Master's / Diploma / Bachelor degree</p> <p><br /> <strong>Required work experience</strong><br /> Engineering at least over 5 years<br /> IT / information systems at least over 5 years<br /> Project management for at least 5 years<br /> Solid experience in Systems Engineering is mandatory<br /> Experience in process/quality driven organizations (e.g. NATO, UN, etc.) will be a big advantage</p> <p><strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Office at least detailed. special skills<br /> MS project at least detailed. special skills<br /> Ideally knowledge of JIRA and Confluence</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> Business fluent English<br /> German knowledge would be a plus</p> <p><br /> <strong>Required knowledge</strong><br /> Comprehensive experience in logistic and obsolescence projects is needed</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Legal</strong></p> <p>Ideally hold any valid EU passport (if no EU passport, we offer to sponsor excellent candidates for application of a work permit.</p> <p>Those candidates from countries at odds with western Europe, will probably not have AWACS experience and for security reasons should not apply at this time, or until the situations is relaxed.</p> <p><br /> <strong>Other information</strong></p> <p><a href="https://welcome-center-germany.com/category/lifestyle/munich/" rel="no-follow">Munich - Welcome Center Germany (welcome-center-germany.com)</a></p> <p><a href="https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Tourism-g229465-Manching_Upper_Bavaria_Bavaria-Vacations.html" rel="no-follow">Manching 2022: Best of Manching, Germany Tourism - Tripadvisor</a></p> <p> </p>
