About this role
<p><u><strong>Software Developer for Test Support Systems (f/m/d)</strong></u></p> <p>We have an lucrative contract with Airbus Defence and Space (AIR MAS), Manching, South Germany, for Software specialists interested to step up to the next level, and with a interest in winter sports.</p> <p>You will be a member of the "Test Applications Engineering" team which is part of the head of department "Test Frameworks and Instrumentation" and within the Center of Competence of "TEYV Flight & Integration Test Center" at Airbus Defence and Space located in Manching. The department is the main contributor providing the Test and Simulation Means to different Aircraft programs for supporting them during development, integration and testing with our tools</p> <ul> <li>The job holder works as a software developer for test support systems (f/m/d) and the main tasks are:</li> <li>Design and develop software for our simulation & test support software</li> <li>Evolve the framework architecture in the area of middleware and real-time applications</li> <li>Apply state-of-the-art technologies and techniques</li> <li>Contribute actively to virtual engineering (mixed environment of simulations and real HW)</li> <li>Support SW teams concerning concepts and technologies</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personnel requirements:</strong><br /> Excellent communication skills<br /> Reliable and meticulous work style</p> <p><em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified taken into account.</strong></em><br /> <br /> <strong>Required Studies</strong><br /> Informatics at least a Master’s / Diploma degree<br /> or<br /> or in a related area</p> <p><br /> <strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> Business fluent English<br /> German is a plus</p> <p><strong>Required Experience</strong><br /> Sound knowledge in SW design, patterns and architecture and about system programming and cross-platform development is required<br /> Knowledge about networking, field buses and distributed systems is a plus</p> <p><strong>IT</strong><br /> Good programming skills in C++ is essential and knowledge in QT is a plus<br /> </p> <p><strong>Legal:</strong> EU or NATO country passport required </p>
