<p><u><strong>Senior Designer for Electrical System Integration (f/m/d) </strong></u></p> <p>We have a superb contract as Senior Designer for Electrical System Integration, with Airbus Defence and Space (AIR MAS) located at Manching, South Germany. Great opportunity for any suitably qualified candidate to step up the the next level with Airbus, and an interest in winter sports.</p> <p>The jobholder works as Senior Designer for Electrical System Integration (f/m/d) and the tasks are:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the design of electrical harnesses as a result of tight interaction with all stakeholders from system design up to manufacturing</li> <li>Interfacing supportive functions as Certification, Quality and Standardization</li> <li>Definition, Development, Integration and Installation of Electrical and Avionic Systems (ATA92/87)</li> <li>Looms/Harnesses, Routing Installations, Electrical Equipment Installations</li> <li>Design and Management of Changes Definition and Documentation of Electrical Systems (Harnesses & Installations, Electrical Boxes and Electrical Equipment Installations)</li> <li>Coordination of electrical design work within design team and correspondence to interfacing departments</li> <li>Checking and Approval of Looms/Harness Design</li> <li>Electrical Components Selection</li> <li>Support to Production Activities</li> <li>Support to Certification Activities</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personnel requirements:</strong><br /> Team player<br /> Proactive, independently and accurately way of working<br /> </p> <p><em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified taken into account.</strong></em><br /> <br /> <strong>Required Studies</strong><br /> Electrical engineering at least Master's / Diploma /Bachelor / HNC/D course<br /> or<br /> Engineering at least Master's / Diploma /Bachelor / HNC/D course<br /> or<br /> Mechanical engineering at least Master's / Diploma /Bachelor / HNC/D course<br /> or similar</p> <p><strong>Required Experience</strong><br /> Engineering at least over 5 years<br /> Manufacturing / production at least over 5 years<br /> Working and electrical aerospace project expertise ideally up to 10 years is mandatory<br /> Experience in Electrical Harnesses and Electrical System Installation Design is a must</p> <p><strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Office at least detailed. special skills<br /> Knowledge in electrical tools like CHS (Capital Harness System) is necessary</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> German would be of advantage<br /> Business fluent English</p> <p><strong>Legal </strong>EU or NATO country passport required </p>
