<p><u><strong>A400M Weapon System Certification and Qualification Engineer (d/m/w)</strong></u></p> <p>We have a interesting opportunity with Airbus Defence and Space (AIR MAS) located at Manching, South Germany for A400M Weapon System Certification and Qualifications Engineers. Are you interested to step up to the next level with Airbus, and have a interest in winter sports ?</p> <p>The job holder is an A400M Weapon System Certification and Qualification Engineer (d/m/f) active. The area of responsibility is broken down in detail as follows:</p> <ul> <li>Assistance in defining and maintaining the DASS certification plan</li> <li>Support in defining and maintaining the DASS qualification plan and ensuring that all planned DASS C&Q activities are carried out</li> <li>Independent review and approval of technical documents as part of the approval relevant</li> <li>Verification in cooperation with Design Office specialists</li> <li>Support of the certification activities of complex hardware and software components after DO-254 and DO-178</li> <li>Support for environmental qualification of equipment certification activities (DO-160)</li> <li>Independent observer when conducting acceptance tests (laboratory test, ground test, flight test)</li> <li>Review of certification and qualification documents</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personal requirements:</strong><br /> Very good communication and negotiation skills (internal and external with certification bodies and customers) A responsible, careful and goal-oriented working style</p> <p><br /> <u><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified taken into account.</strong></u></p> <p><br /> <strong>Required studies</strong><br /> Engineering at least Masters / Diploma / Bachelor degree<br /> or<br /> Aerospace at least Master's / Diploma / Bachelor degree</p> <p><strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Office at least detailed. special skills</p> <p><br /> <strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> Business fluent English<br /> Knowledge of German, French or Spanish is an advantage</p> <p><strong>Required work experience</strong><br /> Very good knowledge of airworthiness regulations and procedures and in<br /> Security principles with an overview of the security process are necessary<br /> Must have solid compliance demonstration experience<br /> Good knowledge of electronic warfare<br /> Airbus experience is an advantage</p> <p><strong>Required expertise</strong><br /> Familiarity with the following standards: DO-178 software qualification, DO-254 hardware<br /> Qualification and DO-160 environmental qualification are a must</p> <p><strong>Required additional qualifications</strong><br /> A completed further training in the<strong> t</strong>esting area is advantageous<br /> </p> <p><strong>Legal:</strong> EU or NATO country passport required</p>
