About this role

<p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Air Traffic Control Officer on the Isles of Scilly.</p> <p>Applicants must hold a current UK/CAA licence with both Aerodrome and Approach procedural control ratings with a minimum of 2 years validated experience. Ideally experience should include working in a remote or offshore location with experience in a busy mixed traffic environment.</p> <p>A current EU Class 3 Medical Certificate is also required. A MET observers’ certificate would be advantageous.</p> <p>The ATCO will work under the general direction of the ATS &amp; Airport Manager to assist in fulfilling the necessary statutory functions in order to permit the safe operation of public transport and other flights at St Mary’s Airport.</p> <p>St Mary’s Airport currently operates six days a week with the prospect of seven days a week operation in the future.</p> <p><b>Benefits include</b></p> <ul> <li>A generous holiday entitlement starting at 26 days pro rata per annum plus bank holidays</li> <li>Cycle to work scheme</li> <li>Defined benefit pension scheme</li> <li>Training and development opportunities</li> </ul> <p>“A relocation package is available for the successful candidate”</p>
