<p><u><strong>Mechanical Development Engineer / Stress / Fatigue (f/m/d) - SPACE INDUSTRY - IMMEDIATE</strong></u></p> <p><br /> Customer ArianeGroup GmbH (AGG)<br /> Location Taufkirchen<br /> Planned shortlist date 05/09/2023<br /> Planned start of operation Immediately<br /> Working time full time 40h / 174.00h<br /> <br /> <strong>Job description and tasks</strong><br /> The jobholder (m/f/d) will be based in Taufkirchen as a Mechanical Development Engineer (f/m/d)<br /> and is responsible for the following tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Creation of finite element models (ANSYS / NASTRAN) for mechanical analysis based on CAD geometry, material / fluid properties and/or requirements from specifications</li> <li>Thermomechanical analyzes of engine and propulsion components, including justification against static & dynamic loads as well as fatigue and damage tolerance</li> <li>Model validation based on test data or heritage</li> <li>Assessment of the required analyzes and derivation of proposals for design optimization</li> <li>Documentation of results</li> <li>Presentation in front of the customer, e.g. within design reviews</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personnel requirements:</strong><br /> Team player with excellent communication skills<br /> Service and customer-oriented person with a high sense of responsibility<br /> High level of assertiveness</p> <p><br /> <strong>Studies</strong><br /> Aerospace at least Bachelor's degree</p> <p><strong>Experience</strong><br /> Aerospace at least over 2 years<br /> Structural mechanics (metal) at Airbus operations at least over 2 years<br /> Technical documentation for at least 2 years<br /> Experiences in the field of robustness, dynamic, fatigue and damage tolerance analysis<br /> very good knowledge in structural mechanics as well as in simulation methods for thermomechanical analysis</p> <p><br /> <strong>IT</strong><br /> Nastran at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> experiences with ANSYS<br /> programming skills Fortran, Python, C++</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> Business fluent English<br /> German and French is a plus<br />  </p> <p><strong>Legal</strong>: EU or NATO country passport mandatory, UK and similar can start immediately, and we will sponsor you for a work permit</p>
