<p><u><strong>Junior Fuel System Development Engineer (f/m/d)  - AIRBUS - Immediate start</strong></u><br /> <br /> Job description and tasks<br /> <br /> The jobholder (f/m/d) works as a Junior Fuel System Development Engineer and the main tasks are:</p> <ul> <li>Development and in-service support of aircraft fuel systems for various military aircraft programs:</li> <li>Integration of fuel systems, sub-systems and equipment into various aircraft platforms, i.e. specification, qualification and certification of systems, sub-systems and equipment with respect to requirements, safety and reliability and according to the Airbus Defense and Space development process Solving thermo- and fluid dynamical as well as mechanical engineering tasks and problems, including the use of numerical simulation methods and tools In-service support for fuel systems and associated equipment: Support of defect or problem investigations (root cause analysis, development of problem solutions and modifications)</li> <li>Support of modification processes</li> <li>Preparation of certification and clearance documentation</li> <li>Technical management of system or component manufacturers and/or suppliers during development and in-service support</li> <li>Continuous monitoring of available technologies and identification of technology gaps</li> <li>Managing interfaces to related technical departments and functions (e.g. program management, procurement, final assembly, maintenance, technical publications, technology management, hellip;)</li> <li>Cooperation and coordination with internal, external, national and international subcontractors, suppliers, customers and partner companies</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personnel requirements:</strong><br /> Good planning and organizational skills<br /> Ability to work in an international team, self-reliant and systematic, fast comprehension, stress resistance<br /> and being prepared for worldwide business travel</p> <p><br /> <em><strong>Disabled applicants with equal qualifications will be given special consideration.</strong></em></p> <p><br /> <strong>Studies</strong><br /> Engineering at least Bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> Aerospace at least Bachelor's degree</p> <p><strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Office at least detailed. special skills<br /> Knowledge of and experience in numerical system modeling and simulation tools (e.g. Star<br /> CCM+, Simcenter Amesim, Flowmaster, CATIA) would be a plus</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> Business fluent German<br /> English at least well versed</p> <p><strong>Experience</strong><br /> Basic knowledge in equipment and system engineering, with focus on the area of fuel systems:<br /> System architectures, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, operational behavior and control of<br /> air vehicle general systems is required</p> <p><strong>Legal </strong>EU or Nato country passport required, UK passport will be ideal</p>
