<p><u><strong>Acoustics and Vibration Engineer (f/m/d) - 2 vacancies</strong></u></p> <p>We have 2 exciting contract positions for any suitably qualified Acoustics and Vibration Engineers to work with Airbus Defence and Space (AIR MAS), located at Manching in South Germany. Great opportunity to work with Airbus, and step up to the next level.</p> <p>The jobholder works as an Acoustics and Vibration Engineer (f/m/d) and the main tasks and responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Acoustics and Vibration Analyzes for the Integration of new Equipment and Stores</li> <li>Definition, preparation, execution and support of Qualification Tests and Flight Test Campaigns</li> <li>Management of external suppliers and partners</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personnel requirements:</strong><br /> Ability to work in a multinational team<br /> Problem solving attitude & capability of working in autonomy<br /> Availability to travel (One a quarter for one week)</p> <p><em><strong>Disabled applicants with equal qualifications will be given special consideration.</strong></em><br /> <br /> <strong>Required Studies</strong><br /> Engineering at least Masters / Diploma / Bachelor degree<br /> or<br /> Aerospace at least Master's / Diploma / Bachelor degree<br /> or<br /> Acoustics and Vibration at least Master's / Diploma / Bachelor degree</p> <p><br /> <strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Access at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> MS Office at least detailed. special skills<br /> Matlab at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> Experience of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) would be an advantage<br /> Knowledge of Linux would be a plus</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> Business fluent English<br /> German would be an advantage</p> <p><strong>Required Experience</strong><br /> Experience in Aerospace Engineering or similar is mandatory<br /> Experience in the field of acoustics and vibration is mandatory<br /> Experience with Structural Dynamic Testing is required<br /> Experience with Data Acquisition, Data Handling, Data Processing and Analysis is desirable<br /> Experience with MIL-STD-810 would be an advantage</p> <p><strong>Required expertise</strong><br /> Knowledge in Definition of Vibration Environments is mandatory<br /> Knowledge of Vibration Qualification Processes is mandatory<br /> Knowledge in modal testing and analysis is desirable<br /> </p> <p><strong>Legal:</strong> EU or NATO country required. Candidates from UK can start immediately, and you will be sponsored for a work permit.</p>
