<p><u><strong>Embedded Software Engineer FCS & FMS (f/m/d)</strong></u><u><strong> with AIRBUS</strong></u></p> <p>We have 2 great contracts on offer for Embedded Software Engineers, with Airbus Defence and Space (AIR MAS) located at Manching, South Germany. This is a great and rare opportunity to work with Airbus, and step up to the next level.</p> <p>As Embedded Software Engineer FCS (Flight Control System) & FMS (Flight Management System) (f/m/d) the jobholder has the following tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Develop embedded safety critical software for an onboard system of Eurofighter</li> <li>Responsible to design and code safety critical real time software</li> <li>Before making software airborne, integrate and test the work directly on the target hardware</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personnel requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to work in an international team</li> <li>A passionate software developer with motivation and willingness to learn and specialize in all these technologies and languages</li> <li>Ability to work independently and self-motivated</li> <li>A team player who is enthusiastic to share knowledge, discuss and try out new things and enjoying the challenge to improve things</li> </ul> <p><em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified taken into account.</strong></em></p> <p><strong>Required Studies</strong></p> <p>Informatics at least a Master’s / Diploma / Bachelor degree<br /> or<br /> Embedded Systems at least Master's / Diploma /Bachlor`s degree</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> Business fluent English<br /> German knowledge would be beneficial</p> <p><strong>Required Experience</strong><br /> Minimum 3 years of experience in Embedded Systems Software Development and<br /> Model based system design</p> <p><strong>IT</strong><br /> Practical experience in ADA, Cor Java is mandatory<br /> Knowledge in Python would be desirable<br /> First experience with programming standards is necessary</p> <p><strong>Required expertise</strong><br /> Understanding the challenges of developing safety critical software and Awareness of Civil standards DO-178c and DO-330 is necessary</p> <p><strong>Legal</strong>: Nato country or EU passport required. UK nationals can start at once, but will be sponsored for a work permit<br /> </p>
