<p><u><strong>Development Engineer Test Support Systems (m/f/d) - AIRBUS - Manching - Immediate Start</strong></u></p> <p><br /> <strong>Job description and tasks</strong><br /> The "Weapon Systems Rigs" department in the "A/C Rigs Benches & Simulation" department at Airbus<br /> Defense and Space in Manching is responsible for the engineering of all test facilities at the site that are used for<br /> Avionics and flight control (hydraulics) qualification and certification are used. Therefor<br /> from future concepts to design, development and acceptance of the systems to test support<br /> Systems to operation and maintenance are all offered from a single source. In addition, Aircraft<br /> Ground equipment (so-called AGEs) developed and maintained. The main customers come from<br /> Eurofighter and Tornado programs, but also from the UAV and other areas.</p> <p>Areas of responsibility of the department:</p> <ul> <li>Design and development of Test Support System (TSS) hardware in different form factors</li> <li>Programming of FPGAs (VHDL) for standardized test support system hardware design and development of signal conditioning hardware modules based on Standard Form</li> <li>Factors for the Test Support System</li> <li>Development of user programs and models (real-time / non-real-time) as test support</li> <li>Conversion of existing models/user programs to new environments</li> </ul> <p>Tasks and responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Firmware creation and application creation for micro - processors and microcontrollers in C, C ++ FPGA development in VHDL with the standard toolchain</li> <li>Simulation, design, implementation and independent execution of development tests (unit tests)</li> <li>Close cooperation with the responsible quality management department</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personal requirements:</strong><br /> Independent and cooperative way of working<br /> High communication and team skills<br /> Structured way of working and quality awareness</p> <p><br /> <em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified taken into account.</strong></em></p> <p><br /> <strong>Studies</strong><br /> Electrical engineering at least Bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> Computer science at least a bachelor's degree</p> <p><strong>Experience</strong><br /> IT / information systems at least over 2 years<br /> Aerospace at least over 2 years</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> Business fluent English<br /> Knowledge of German is an advantage</p> <p><strong>IT</strong><br /> Knowledge of C and C++ is required<br /> Knowledge of programming FPGAs (VHDL) for standardized test support systems<br /> </p> <p><strong>Legal:</strong> EU or Nato country passport required, UK passport would be ideal</p>
