<p><u><strong>Wide-Body Doors Eng. Stress and FDT (d/f/m)</strong></u></p> <p><br /> <strong>Job description and tasks</strong><br /> The job holder (d/m/f) works as a stress engineer in the design team for large-capacity doors,<br /> passenger and cargo doors. He is involved in new developments and supports the in-service (in<br /> operational fleet).</p> <ul> <li>Creation, review and release of evidence reports</li> <li>Interface load calculation, (secure mastery of (GFEM) global finite element models models)</li> <li>Calculation and verification of metal and composite components and assemblies through the use of FEM tools and analytical verification</li> <li>Evaluation of the various constructive solution options, taking all of them into account</li> <li>Relevant aspects regarding statics and F&DT (Fatigue and Damage Tolerance), e.g. weight,</li> <li>Development, manufacturing and in-service costs, subject to the highest Airplane Security</li> <li>Coordination with important stakeholders (chief engineering, program, customer service, etc.).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personal requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The ability to quickly recognize and analyze connections and functionalities</li> <li>Independent, structured and result-oriented work in order to achieve goals on schedule achieve and coordinate work processes efficiently</li> <li>Strong communication skills to deal with contacts at all levels to work together</li> <li>Good presentation skills and the ability to explain contexts</li> <li>Possibility to work from home after training for 2-3 days a week</li> </ul> <p><strong><em>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified taken into account.</em></strong></p> <p><br /> <em><strong>Please note that we do not accept CVs older than 3 months at the time of offering may take into account!</strong></em></p> <p><br /> <strong>Studies</strong><br /> Aircraft construction at least a bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> Engineering at least Bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> Aerospace at least Bachelor's degree</p> <p><br /> <strong>Experience</strong><br /> Calculation of statics at least over 3 years<br /> Fatigue and damage tolerance at least over 3 years<br /> Aircraft construction at least over 3 years<br /> Stress engineer at least 3 years<br /> Good understanding of manufacturing processes required</p> <p><br /> <strong>IT</strong><br /> Python at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> MS Office at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> Catia V5 at least in-depth application knowledge<br /> Nastran at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> PDM link<br /> (product data management system/<br /> validation tool)<br /> at least in-depth application knowledge<br /> Knowledge of ISAMI is required</p> <p><br /> <strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> German would be or advantage<br /> Business fluent English<br /> French an advantage</p> <p><br /> <strong>Expertise</strong><br /> Airbus experience an advantage</p> <p><strong>Other qualifications</strong><br /> Knowledge of PASS SSI PLM required<br /> Knowledge of Hyperworks required<br /> Knowledge of manual methods (HSB, Niu, Bruhn) required<br /> Basic knowledge and experience of aircraft design, manufacture and certification process</p>
