<p><u><strong>LGS System Engineer (f/m/d) - Airbus - Immediate start</strong></u><br /> <br /> <br /> The jobholder will work as a LGS Engineer (f/m/d) in one or more aircraft programs. The post specific<br /> activities include:</p> <ul> <li>Supporting the generation of Weapon System level, LGS and Landing Gear subsystem technical, performance and certification requirements</li> <li>Supporting the development of LGS Equipment and Assemblies in accordance with ADS and programme-specific processes, procedures and standards related to: Safety, Airworthiness and the environment</li> <li>Supporting senior colleagues in planning LGS Qualification activities; selection of qualification/test methodologies where appropriate and monitoring</li> <li>Equipment/assembly-level physical test, modelling & simulation activities</li> <li>Support to on-call activities, including Technical Queries, Operational Occurrence management and</li> <li>Problem/Defect Investigations;</li> <li>Supplier management, including oversight of equipment, supplier performance and technical compliance</li> <li>Technical coordination with ADS internal and external stakeholders, including prospective suppliers and customers to support bid activities</li> </ul> <p>Personnel requirements:<br /> Sound communication, presentation and negotiation skills<br /> Willingness to learn and work in an international team<br /> Willingness to travel worldwide for business purposes (3 times a year)</p> <p><br /> <em><strong>Disabled applicants with equal qualifications will be given special consideration.</strong></em></p> <p><br /> <strong>Studies</strong><br /> Aerospace at least Bachelor's degree<br /> or<br /> Mechanical engineering at least a bachelor's degree<br /> Experience<br /> IT / information systems at least over 2 years<br /> Basic awareness of Aircraft and Aircraft System Qualification and Certification is required</p> <p><strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Office at least detailed. special skills<br /> Experience in the use of one or<br /> more of the following design, or modelling/simulation or requirements capture applications<br /> would be advantageous: Catia V5, MSC ADAMS, MATLAB, Simulink or IBM DOORS</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> Business fluent English<br /> German would be a plus<br /> </p> <p><strong>Legal: </strong>EU or Nato passport required (UK would be ideal)</p>
