<p>Our client is a leading Fixed and Rotary Wing Aviation Services company providing turnkey charter solutions in the Oceania region supporting a wide base of passenger and freight requirements for both private and corporate services.<br /> <br /> They are currently looking for an&nbsp;<strong>Engineering Manager (CASA Part 145 Responsible Manager)</strong>&nbsp;reporting directly to the CEO. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that the&nbsp;AMO meets the requirements outlined in the AMO's Exposition, CASR 1998, and the OGP and BARS guidelines within their designated area of responsibility.<br /> <br /> This role will be based in Australia. A competitive and well-rounded remuneration package will be offered to successful candidates.</p> <p><br /> <strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensuring there are appropriate facilities, personnel, maintenance data, and tooling to plan, perform, supervise, inspect, and certify for the scope of maintenance granted under our client's&nbsp;Maintenance Organisation's Approval.</li> <li>Ensure that all personnel engaged in maintenance are adequately qualified, competent, and adhere to the requirements of the exposition.</li> <li>Ensure that all maintenance and certification carried out under our client's&nbsp;approval meets the requirement of the exposition, the regulator, and the CASR Part 42 Operator.</li> <li>Ensure that, through an ongoing training and assessment program, all employees understand their responsibilities defined within the exposition.</li> <li>Ensure that the quality of physical and professional workmanship reflects the intent of the exposition, and that safety and quality checks are carried out.</li> <li>Respond to quality and safety deficiencies within their role, with adequate corrective actions.</li> <li>Ensure that manpower planning caters for the projected requirement, taking Human Factors and Fatigue Management into account.</li> <li>Ensure the adequate storage and control of parts and tooling are maintained within the requirements of the exposition.</li> <li>Initiate direct communication with CASA on any topic when necessary, at the discretion of the position holder and in accordance with the exposition.</li> <li>Maintain oversight of record-keeping, with respect to maintenance certification, Company Maintenance Authorizations, training and assessment records as required by the exposition, to ensure records are maintained for the statutory period.</li> <li>Highlight any shortfall that may affect safety, quality, or affect a required change to the Organization's approval, to the Accountable Manager so that Management can take the required action.</li> <li>Ensure that the exposition and all documents required to comply with the exposition, including current maintenance data, are available to staff that require them.</li> <li>Ensure that all sub-contract work orders are correctly detailed and that the requirements of the contract or work order are fulfilled in respect of inspection and quality control.</li> </ul> <p><br /> <strong>Job Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least 10 years' experience in matters for which they are responsible; or</li> <li>At least 2 years' experience in matters for which they are responsible, provided they have at least an additional 8 years' experience in civil aircraft maintenance.</li> <li>Current CASA Part 66 engineering license.</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communications skills</li> <li>Personnel leadership skills in an operational environment</li> <li>Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Civil Aviation Safety Regulations.</li> <li>Be Familiar with OGP guidelines and BARS requirements.</li> </ul> <p><br /> Please&nbsp;<strong>APPLY NOW&nbsp;</strong>if you are interested with your latest up-to-date CV.
