<p>Flight Test Installation (FTI) Operation & Maintenance (d/m/f)<br /> <br /> <strong>Job description and tasks</strong><br /> The job holder is a Flight Test Installation (FTI) Operation & Maintenance (d/m/f) in the field of flight test instrumentation (FTI). The department is closely involved in the preparation, conduct and follow-up of flight tests at the site Manching and the support of the test vehicles.</p> <p>The main tasks are:</p> <ul> <li>Servicing, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting on the FTI system on the aircraft</li> <li>Pre-flight and post-flight activities related to the FTI system (incl. handling of classified data carriers)</li> <li>Configuration, configuration management, commissioning and operation of the FTI system for</li> <li>Ground and flight tests</li> <li>Coordination of the FTI tasks e.g. with specialist disciplines, laboratory, workshops and material supply</li> <li>Supporting the aircraft ground crew in processing FTI orders</li> <li>Development of sw and tools for FTI system engineering and operation tasks</li> <li>Preparation and participation in test campaigns at home and abroad</li> <li>Willingness to make occasional business trips</li> <li>VS verification required</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personal requirements:</strong><br /> Ability to work well in a team and pass on instructions to others<br /> A strong willingness to learn<br /> A high degree of conflict-solving ability, influence and assertiveness<br /> Willingness to make occasional business trips</p> <p><br /> <em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified taken into account.</strong></em><br /> </p> <p><strong>Studies</strong><br /> Electrical engineering at least technician/ business administrator<br /> or<br /> Aircraft construction at least technician/ business administrator<br /> or<br /> Engineering at least technician/ business administrator<br /> or<br /> Aerospace at least technician/ business administrator<br /> or<br /> Mechatronics at least technician/ business administrator</p> <p><br /> <strong>Experience</strong><br /> Electrics at least over 3 years<br /> Engineering at least over 3 years<br /> Aerospace at least over 3 years<br /> Measurement technology at least over 3 years<br /> Servicing/maintenance for at least 3 years</p> <p><br /> <strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Office at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> Programming knowledge is an advantage</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> Business fluent German<br /> English at least well versed<br /> </p> <p><strong>Legal: </strong>EU or NATO country passport required, for example UK nationals can start immediately, as we will obtain the work permit for you</p>
