Engineering Quality Manager

<p>Our client is a renowned aeromedical service provider that delivers services nationally throughout Australia. Their&nbsp;crew are specially trained in emergency and trauma, pre-hospital and remote medicine and they&nbsp;use helicopters, jet aircraft, turbo-prop planes and road vehicles to reach and treat patients wherever they are.</p> <p>They are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable individual as an&nbsp;<strong>Engineering Quality Manager</strong>&nbsp;that will&nbsp;be responsible for maintaining an independent Quality System and improve endorsed policies to assist our client’s Maintenance and Airworthiness Organisations to achieve its quality objectives.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain an independent audit program in line with CAR 30, CASR Part 42, CASR Part 145 and CoA requirements.&nbsp;</li> <li>Lead and guide stakeholders to identify corrective and preventative actions to address any observed non-compliance in a timely manner.</li> <li>Assist with regulatory and client surveillance audits when requested. Complete all necessary corrective action requests and provide feedback to the auditor within the deadline noted in the audit report.</li> <li>In line with our client's SMS, conduct investigations into quality related events relating to Airworthiness and Maintenance matters.</li> <li>Assist with external supplier audits and follow up with Corrective Action requirements as necessary.</li> <li>Maintain and update the Approved Supplier Register.</li> <li>Provide reports and feedback to Maintenance Management, Continuing Airworthiness and the Accountable Manager.</li> <li>Identify areas of compliance vulnerability and risks associated by providing guidance to the&nbsp;management team.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Quality Management qualification.</li> <li>Minimum 5 years’ aviation experience safety &amp; quality management and/or maintenance background.</li> <li>Understanding of risk management principles and techniques.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate confidently, effectively, and positively with a wide range of people/cultural diversity.</li> <li>A high degree of conceptual and analytical skills.</li> <li>Ability to hold and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).</li> <li>Willingness to travel as required.</li> <li>A bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related technical field, would be advantageous.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience using AeroTrack and Air Maestro.</li> </ul> <p>Please&nbsp;<strong>APPLY NOW&nbsp;</strong>if you are interested with your latest up-to-date CV.</p>
