Professor in UAS Traffic Management

<p>We welcome applications from thought-leading academics and industry leaders or passionate researchers wishing to join the Centre for Autonomous and Cyber-Physical Systems.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>The School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing, is seeking to appoint a Professor in UAS Traffic Management of international standing. The position will take up a leadership role in the School by bringing together research in Unmanned Air Traffic Management and Advanced Air Mobility operations. UAS Traffic Management is about developing airspace management solutions that will bring higher levels of system resilience, safety and security while adapting to competition from Advance Air Mobility to operate in the same airspace is one of the key research areas of the <a href="http://Digital Aviation Research and Technology Centre" rel="no-follow">Digital Aviation Research and Technology Centre&nbsp;</a> (DARTeC). &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>To be considered for this opportunity you will hold a PhD in a relevant discipline and have an internationally recognised track record in the field of Unmanned Aircraft Systems Traffic Management. This will be evidenced by high quality publications, and competitive research funding or senior level industry experience.
