<p><strong>Job Title: </strong>GSE Technician</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> London Heathrow</p><p><strong>Contract:</strong> Permanent</p><p><strong>CAE Parc Aviation</strong> are currently recruiting for a qualified Ground Support Equipment Technician (GSE) to join TCR UK LTD, a leading aviation solution provider on a permanent contract.</p><p>Technicians are required to service and repair equipment such as portable stairs, fuel and food trucks, towing tractors, aircraft tugs, man-lifts, forklifts, APU's and Company vehicles.</p><p><strong>About the role</strong></p><p>This is a varied position where you will play a crucial part in the success of the company by offering your expert mechanical knowledge in order to diagnose and repair equipment, such as towing tractors, aircraft tugs, baggage elevators and a variety of specialist, unique vehicles. The suitable candidate will be mechanically skilled and a good problem solver in order to effectively maintain on site equipment. Undertake repairs and maintenance for company and associated vehicles to the required standard. Adhere to corporate Health and Safety guidelines, ISO 9001 framework and guidelines on vehicle maintenance.</p><p><strong>About you</strong></p><p>You will need to have experience in maintenance of heavy vehicles. Have a professional 'can do' attitude and be able to work as part of a team.</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul> <li>Motor Mechanics - LGV (essential)</li><li>LGV 2 (desirable)</li><li>Forklift (desirable)</li></ul> <p><strong>You will need to:</strong></p><ul> <li>Be able to demonstrate your Right To Work in the UK.</li><li>Be able to obtain an airside pass requiring a criminal record check and 5 year history verification.</li><li>Hold a valid UK driving licence.</li></ul> <p>Personal data provided by applicants will be used strictly in accordance with our personal data policy.
