About this role
<p>We are currently looking for Component Mechanics to work in a long-term contract job in one of our clients in Central Europe.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Swiss Certificate of Proficiency (EFZ) in polymechanics or similar training.</li> <li>BAZL licence S preferred.</li> <li>Knowledge of aviation preferred</li> <li>Previous experience on propeller maintenance/overhaul, landing gear overhaul, wheel and tyre overhaul or break overhaul.</li> <li>Versatile worker with high level mechanical skills.</li> <li>Knowledge of aviation is an advantage, but not essential</li> <li>Ability to work independently, systematically and with reliability in accordance with the relevant regulations and processes.</li> <li>Fluent in English and German.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Tasks</strong></p> <ul> <li>Overhaul and repair of Hartzell propellers and components</li> <li>Prioritising, scheduling, and planning work on the propellers</li> <li>Coordinate crack detection, surface treatment and painting with various stakeholders</li> <li>Assist with repairs of aircraft components such as landing gears, brakes, wheels, etc.</li> <li>Provide technical advice to engineering and customer service.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Conditions</strong></p> <ul> <li>Flexible working hours and individual choices in occupational pension provision</li> <li>Promotion of training and further education as well as room for professional and personal development</li> <li>Long term contract.</li> <li>Salary iaw experience.</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p>If you feel you meet the requirements, please do not hesitate to contact us.</p>
