About this role
<p>We are hiring a <strong>Crew Controller</strong> for one of our main clients to be based Malta on a permanent basis.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Cost analysis and liaison with the accounting team</li> <li>Liaison with the AOC team</li> <li>Covid restriction review and analysis</li> <li>Operational administration</li> <li>Liaison between the Customer and the Company internal department to match Customer’s expectations</li> <li>Planning and publication of the duty-schedule including the co-ordination of all training activities for all flight crewmembers.</li> <li>Guarantee compliance with the flight and duty time limitations of each AOC</li> <li>Monitoring of the flight crewmembers duty-scheduling as to ensure the availability of an adequate number of flight crewmembers according to the operational requirements.</li> <li>Travel arrangements for flight crewmembers and Comlux staff members warranting a cost effective and reliable travel program in accordance to the company travel policy.</li> <li>Monitor and support international crew member’s passport validity and visa requirements for any intended travel arrangements.</li> <li>Co-ordination and communication between the flight crew members and all relevant departments of Comlux in order to provide a safe, efficient and uninterrupted scheduling of service personnel.</li> <li>Establishing periodical data evaluation. Invoices controlling.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 5 years of experience in a VIP aircraft management and charter environment, with worldwide flight operations</li> <li>Familiarity flight and duty time limitation</li> <li>Experience in crew training management</li> <li>Experience in crew travel and crew visa</li> <li>Familiarity with aircraft performance, international regulations, EASA rules, operations manual (OM) and flight entry requirements.</li> <li>Proactive active with strong organizing skills, team-oriented and flexible approach</li> <li>Excellent communication skills in English / oral and written</li> <li>IT skills/experience in use of dispatch related software – flight planning systems (i.e. Jet planner), SITA/AFTN communications, sched/ops control systems and MS Office applications</li> <li>Willingness to work on shifts; night shift included</li> <li>Willingness to relocate to Malta, unless already living in Malta.</li> <li>Understand of Customer’s needs and expectations</li> </ul> <p><strong>Conditions</strong></p> <ul> <li>Full time permanent position</li> <li>Competitive salary</li> <li>Travel and personal accident insurance</li> <li>Free Health and Dental insurance</li> <li>Encouragement of innovation and support in personal and professional growth</li> <li>Offices with beautiful outdoor space, facing the yacht marina</li> </ul>
