The task area<br /> breaks down in detail as follows:</p> <ul> <li>Collection of mass-relevant data for Tornado and Eurofighter</li> <li>Calculation of mass, volume, surface area and center of gravity coordinates using of the analysis functions in CATIA V5</li> <li>Adoption of the component dimensions from the corresponding drawings in CATIA</li> <li>Calculation of the mass moments of inertia</li> <li>Evaluation of modifications and upgrades based on installation/removal drawings</li> <li>Checking the calculated component masses against the target specifications</li> <li>Entry of mass-relevant data into various databases</li> <li>Conducting material/component studies</li> <li>Evaluation of RFAs and modifications</li> <li>Tornado: Control of the RFA creation in exchange with the responsible system engineers</li> <li>Eurofighter Mass Properties Support (if needed)</li> <li>Processing of mass-related customer inquiries</li> <li>Preparation and evaluation of aircraft weighings</li> <li>Monitoring of aircraft weighings on site at the customer (after training)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personal requirements:</strong><br /> Meticulous, independent and goal-oriented working style<br /> Outstanding team player</p> <p><em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified taken into account.</strong></em><br /> <br /> <strong>Studies</strong><br /> Engineering at least Masters / Diploma/ Bachelor degree<br /> or<br /> Aerospace at least Master's / Diploma / Bachelor degree<br /> or<br /> or equivalent</p> <p><br /> <strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Access at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> MS Excel at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> MS Office at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> MS Project minimum knowledge of detailed functions<br /> MS Word minimum knowledge of detailed functions<br /> Catia V5 at least knowledge of detailed functions<br /> Knowledge and/or familiarization with VPM and Teamcenter (PDM system) are required</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> German would be of advantage<br /> Business fluent English</p> <p><strong>Experience</strong><br /> Good basics are in Overall Aircraft Design, Aircraft Structures, Aircraft Systems necessary<br /> First experience preferably in the areas of weight &amp; balance, design, loads, stress Pre-condition<br /> Knowledge of standardization, drawing/flow and parts lists/BoM must be available<br /> Special characteristics of the workplace (risk characteristics)<br /> &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Legal:</strong> EU or NATO country passport required.
