<p><u><strong>Flight Mechanics Engineer (f/m/d) - AIRBUS - Manching - Immediate start</strong></u><br /> <br /> <strong>Job description and tasks</strong><br /> The jobholder works as a Flight Mechanics Engineer (f/m/d) and the main tasks are:</p> <ul> <li>Develop new flight mechanics models, vehicle simulation and tools for handling qualities</li> <li>Take responsibility for individual clearance assessment tasks</li> <li>Preparation of existing simulation models, check cases and input data</li> <li>Support of flight test campaigns</li> <li>Analysis of flight test data</li> <li>Deep interaction with interface disciplines such as aerodynamics, fuel/stores, system design, loads, safety, etc.</li> <li>Maintenance and update of existing tools</li> <li>Performance of linear and non-linear simulations required for clearance activities</li> <li>Analysis aerodynamic data</li> <li>Analysis of complex simulation results</li> <li>Documentation and summary of the simulation results</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personnel requirements:</strong><br /> Very good communication skills<br /> Ability to work independently and self-motivated<br /> You are able to work in big teams and are an excellent team player</p> <p><br /> <strong><em>Disabled applicants with equal qualifications will be given special consideration.</em></strong></p> <p><br /> <strong>Studies</strong><br /> Aerospace at least Master's / Diploma degree</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> German would be of advantage<br /> Business fluent English</p> <p><strong>Experience</strong><br /> Ideally first experience in IT and aviation environment</p> <p><strong>IT</strong><br /> At least one of the following programming languages:<br /> MATLAB, Simulink, C or C++<br /> </p> <p><strong>Legal</strong>: EU or Nato country passport required, for example UK nationals can start immediately as we will organise a work permit</p>
