<p><u><strong>System Engineer for Qualification &amp; Certification FCS (f/m/d) - AIRBUS</strong></u><br /> &nbsp;</p> <p>We have a superb position as System Engineer for Qualification &amp; Certification FCS (f/m/d) with Airbus located in Manching, South Germany. A great opportunity for suitably qualified candidates to step up to the next level with Airbus.&nbsp;</p> <p>German language would be of advantage, but is not required.</p> <p><br /> Planned shortlist date 05/24/2023<br /> Planned start of operation Immediately<br /> <br /> <strong>Job description and tasks</strong><br /> The department "Digital Flight Control Systems" at Airbus Defense &amp; Space is in charge of System<br /> Design, Qualification &amp; Certification for flight control systems of fighter aircraft. The jobholder works as a System Engineer for Qualification &amp; Certification FCS (Flight Control System) (f/m/d) and the main tasks are:</p> <ul> <li>Preparation of the FCS Qualification Program Plans Assessment of the flight clearance requests in order to define the required qualification and certification activities</li> <li>Planning, integration and harmonization of clearance evidence from the FCS disciplines</li> <li>Preparation of the FCS System Clearance/Qualification Statements for the EF Development &amp; Series Production Aircraft</li> <li>Support the verification process for the FCS related type acceptance documentation</li> <li>Preparation of the Compliance matrices showing the fulfilment of the FCS EF Contractual</li> <li>Requirements Coordination of queries raised from the Airworthiness Authority and providing the input required at the FCS National Dialogue</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personnel requirements:</strong><br /> A self-motivated, proactive, follow-up and solution-oriented way of working<br /> Strong communication skills<br /> Technically affine<br /> Hands on mentality</p> <p><br /> <strong><em>Disabled applicants with equal qualifications will be given special consideration.</em></strong></p> <p><br /> <strong>Required Studies</strong><br /> Aerospace at least Master's / Diploma degree<br /> Experience<br /> Engineering at least over 3 years<br /> Experience in qualification and certification is necessary<br /> Handling with aviation authorities is an advantage<br /> Experience with aircrew manuals and the review of documents is a plus</p> <p><br /> <strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Office at least detailed. special skills<br /> MS Project minimum knowledge of detailed functions<br /> Experience with DOORS is nice to have</p> <p><br /> <strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> German would be an advantage<br /> Business fluent English</p> <p><strong>Legal: </strong>EU or Nato country passport required. For example, UK passport holders can start immediately, and we will organise the work permit</p>
