About this role
<p><u><strong>Junior Development Engineer (d/m/w) AOCS/GNC & Flight Dynamics</strong></u></p> <p>The job holder (d/m/f) is responsible for the following tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Mission analysis for different satellite systems and mission scenarios in LEO/MEO/GEO incl. Constellations and Formation Flight. The focus is on satellites with synthetic aperture Radar (SAR).</li> <li>Design of orbit trajectories, flight dynamics and control of complex satellite systems.</li> <li>High-precision numerical simulations for Precise Orbit Determination (POD) and Precise Baseline Determination (PBD)</li> <li>Contribution to the definition, development, maintenance, troubleshooting and verification & validation of Mission analysis and mission planning tools</li> <li>AOCS development, analysis and verification for satellite systems in phase 0/A/B1 (including design of algorithms, creation of AOCS simulation models).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personal requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Good communication skills to ensure the flow of information the ability to integrate into a team</li> <li>High level of responsibility, resilience and organizational talent</li> </ul> <p><br /> <em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified taken into account.</strong></em></p> <p><br /> <strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> Business fluent English<br /> Preferably business fluent knowledge of German and French</p> <p><strong>Required educational studies</strong><br /> University degree in aerospace engineering or comparable qualification.</p> <p><strong>IT</strong><br /> Very good knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, Fortran, C/C++, and Python.</p> <p><strong>Other qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Very good knowledge of orbit/flight dynamics, including their operational implementation, as well as the orbit determination and control of satellites</li> <li>Good knowledge of system dynamics, signal processing and control engineering (design, simulation, verification).</li> </ul>
