<p><u><strong>Electrical/Avionics Engineer - (Newcomers to the profession are welcome to apply for this position)</strong></u></p> <p>With around 170 employees, this company is the world's leading provider of flight inspection systems and a well-known supplier of highly complex system solutions for aerial surveillance. These are mainly required for use in maritime surveillance, reconnaissance, border protection, detection of oil pollution on water, illegal fishing as well as search & rescue tasks. The maintenance and repair of aircraft is also part of the core business. In the design department, they are looking as soon as possible to fill a full-time position for an: Electrical/Avionics Engineer (Newcomers to the profession are welcome to apply for this position)</p> <p><strong>We are looking ideally for motivated and career minded professionals, interested to stay for a full career. </strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><u><strong>Tasks</strong></u>:</p> <ul> <li>Electrical design of airborne equipment (mission systems) and aircraft installations. </li> <li>Create all necessary technical drawings and instructions required for production, installation and test of designs.</li> <li>Technical analysis and assessment of functional requirements, from system architecture to final acceptance of design.</li> <li>Technical support for production and aircraft conversion.</li> <li>Planning and execution of ground and flight tests.</li> <li>Compilation of product-related documentation (e.g. maintenance manuals).</li> <li>Compilation of documents for the airworthiness certification of aircraft.</li> <li>Project management tasks.</li> <li>Product support.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><u><strong>Profile</strong></u>:</p> <ul> <li>Degree in electrical engineering with a focus on radio-, information-, communication technology or comparable.</li> <li>Experience in system design and development.</li> <li>Good computer skills with experience in using ECAD software and MS Office</li> <li>Very good English skills. + Experience in aviation industry, ideally according to EASA Part 21J.</li> <li>A keen interest in the aviation sector and open for new technologies.</li> <li>Able to work autonomously, with a hands-on approach.</li> <li>Competent in the use of laboratory measurement equipment and tools.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.</li> <li>Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.</li> </ul> <p><u><strong>Languages</strong></u></p> <ul> <li>English mandatory, German would be of advantage</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><u>Legal</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Ideally with EU passport, but UK and applicants with other passports considered (we will sponsor you if selected)</li> </ul>
