<p><u><strong>Electronic Warfare Operational Advisor (f/m/d) - AIRBUS - Manching</strong></u></p> <p>We have on offer a lucrative and interesting contract with Airbus Defence and Space (AIR MAS) located at Manching, in beautiful South Germany. Great opportunity for any Electronic Warfare Operational Advisor interested to step up to the next level with Airbus. </p> <p>The job holder will join the Department "Electronic Warfare - Tornado and FCAS". They design and<br /> integrate airborne electronic reconnaissance and self-protection systems and supervise the development<br /> through the entire life cycle. As a competence driven organization they are involved in a wide range of<br /> Programs such as TORNADO, Eurofighter TYPHOON, PEGASUS, MALE, NGWS, etc. and benefit<br /> from their intense operational experience of the Tornado Defensive Aids System. It's a very interesting<br /> and challenging field of technology such as RF/EO Systems, Radar Technology, Radar and Missile<br /> Warner systems, Sensor Fusion & Sensor Management as well as RF and IR counter measure<br /> techniques.</p> <p>The jobholder works as an Electronic Warfare Operational Advisor (f/m/d) and these are the main tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Capture and analysis of EW/DASS system requirements in collaboration with operators</li> <li>Development of functional and non-functional EW system requirements</li> <li>Development of concepts for future system upgrades fullfiling operational requirements</li> <li>Definition of operational scenarios and missions in the context of electronic warfare</li> <li>Act as interface between engineering and operational customers</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personnel requirements:</strong><br /> Strong communication skills<br /> Cooperative way of working<br /> Quick grasp and open minded for new subject areas</p> <p><br /> <em><strong>Severely disabled applicants are given special status if they are equally qualified taken into account.</strong></em><br /> <br /> <strong>Studies</strong><br /> Engineering at least Masters / Diploma / Bachelor degree<br /> or<br /> Systems engineering or similar</p> <p><br /> <strong>IT</strong><br /> MS Office at least detailed. special skills</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> Business fluent English<br /> German or other languages are nice to have</p> <p><strong>Experience</strong><br /> Extensive experience as an operator using airborne electronic warfare systems is required<br /> </p> <p><strong>Legal.</strong> Nato country or EU passport required. For example, UK nationals can start immediately and will be sponsored for a work permit</p>
