<p><u><strong>Wind Tunnel Test Engineer (d/m/f) - Immediate start</strong></u><br /> Customer Airbus Defense and Space (AIR MAS)<br /> Manching location<br /> Planned shortlist date November 9th, 2023<br /> Planned start of operation immediately<br /> Limited until December 31, 2024<br /> <br /> <strong>Job description and tasks</strong><br /> The position holder works as a Wind Tunnel Test Engineer (d/m/f). The area of responsibility is structured<br /> as follows in detail:</p> <ul> <li>Coordination and implementation of wind tunnel projects</li> <li>Creation and analysis of test requirements</li> <li>Development of test and model concepts</li> <li>Test and model specifications, creation of measurement programs</li> <li>Further development of test-specific software</li> <li>Support model design, fabrication and instrumentation</li> <li>Communication with everyone involved, coordination of suppliers</li> <li>Participation in wind tunnel tests</li> <li>Processing and analysis of aerodynamic data, quality assurance, data management</li> <li>Reporting, project tracking</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personal requirements:</strong><br /> Good team player<br /> Excellent communication skills and an independent way of working<br /> Willingness and ability to support technical work in the aerodynamics laboratory and in<br /> Wind tunnel<br /> Willingness to travel (internationally 3 times per year for 1-4 weeks)</p> <p><br /> <em><strong>Severely disabled applicants receive special recognition if they are equally qualified taken into account.</strong></em><br /> <br /> <strong>Studies</strong><br /> Aerospace at least Master / Diploma course<br /> or<br /> or similar field</p> <p><br /> <strong>Experience</strong><br /> Engineering at least over 2 years<br /> Initial experience in carrying out wind tunnel tests is an advantage<br /> Knowledge in the areas of aerodynamics/measurement technology should be available</p> <p><br /> <strong>I.T</strong><br /> MS Office at least in detail. special skills<br /> Experience with CATIA V5 is a plus</p> <p><strong>Linguistic proficiency</strong><br /> At least fluent in English<br /> Knowledge of German is an advantage<br /> ?<br /> Legal;: EU passport or German work permit required. Ü2 clearance not required</p>
