<p><strong>Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker- Amsterdam</strong></p><p>CAE Parc Aviation along with our esteemed partner KLM are excited to announce that we are actively recruiting for Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker at Schiphol Airport. Reporting to the Airframe Department which is responsible for aircraft maintenance for the KLM fleet and worldwide customers, this is a permanent position. It offers a great work/life balance in a best-in-class work environment.</p><p><strong>Main responsibilities:</strong></p><ul> <ul> <li>Inspecting aircraft structures (all aircraft types), preparing and supervising work and modifications, so that they are carried out in accordance with regulations and meet the requirements with regards to airworthiness and safety.</li></ul> </ul> <p>Supervising, monitoring progress and taking corrective measures</p><p>Participate in various meetings regarding teaming, planning, engineering and with customers;</p><p>Carrying out inspections of primary and secondary aircraft structures, sheet metal parts and plastic parts;</p><p>Assessing the condition of structures, recording findings and developing them into executable assignments</p><p>Preparing and carrying out records of aircraft with regard to the expected activities and required capacity, in consultation with clients;</p><p>Carrying out other inspections such as damage inspections and documenting these, RII inspections, NDT and rotational inspections, for aircraft that are being sold, mapping all existing and known repairs carried out on the aircraft in question and using photos and/or review drawings to determine whether damage to the aircraft affects its airworthiness;</p><p>Reporting and documenting all actions and findings</p><p>Preparing and supervising maintenance projects.</p><p>Ensure compliance with all applicable procedures and instructions in the field.</p><p>You will be working in hangar 14 at Schiphol-Oost, in a team with sheet metal workers. You will also work a lot with KLM employees at different levels, but also with external parties, such as Boeing. You will work in shifts - day, evening, night and weekend.</p><p><strong>Minimum Skills & Experience:</strong></p><p>You will be creative and think in terms of possibilities to come up with the right solutions. You are flexible, take responsibility and focus on quality and safety.
