<p>AMAC Aerospace Switzerland AG operates 5 hangars at the Airport Basel-Mulhouse. We are dedicated to maintenance, modification as well as completion projects for mide-size jets, narrow and wide-body aircrafts within the private and business aviation industry.</p> <p>We are seeking for a highly experienced and qualified Mechanical Production Engineer – Modification Group.</p> <p><strong>Our organization is handling projects for the following Aircraft types: </strong></p> <p>Airbus A310 series • Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321 series • Airbus A330 series • Airbus A340 series • Airbus A350 series • Boeing B757/B767 series • Boeing B737 Max Series • Boeing B737 300/400/500 series • Boeing B737 600/700/800/900 series including BBJ 700 (BBJ1)/800 (BBJ2)/900 (BBJ3) • Boeing B777 series • Boeing B787 series • Boeing B747-400/B747-8i • Boeing MD-80 series • Bombardier BD-700 (Global Express/ Global Express XRS/ Global 5000/ Global 5500/ Global 6000/ Global 6500/ Global 7500) series • Bombardier BD-100 series (CL 300/ 350) • Bombardier CL-600-2B16 series (CL 604/ 605/ 650) • Gulfstream II and III Series, GIV (G650/650ER, G450, GV Series, G550, G650, GVI, GVII (G500/ G600) • Pilatus PC-12 series • Pilatus PC-24 series</p> <p><strong>Your responsibilities </strong></p> <ul> <li>Act as Mechanical Production Engineer</li> <li>Support the Team Leader Mechanical Production Engineering in administrative and organizational tasks</li> <li>Ensure correct consideration and application of Certification Basis, Rules and Regulations, Means of Compliance and Interpretations in the engineering output for the product, system or installation designed</li> <li>Ensure adequate communication and liaison internally, especially with the Engineering Team as well as with external Third Parties<br /> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Your daily tasks </strong></p> <ul> <li>Aircraft interior structure / systems / furnishing</li> <li>Preparation of Layout Drawings</li> <li>Handling of related Engineering Change Note from production or installation team</li> <li>Preparation of Compliance Documentation (i.e. E.O, Drawing list)</li> <li>Liaison with Vendors and Supplier of mechanical materials, parts, components and systems Compliance and Interpretations in the engineering output for the product, system or installation designed</li> <li>Selection of equipment, components and materials</li> <li>Development of Mechanical Drawings (2D/3D-CAD)</li> <li>Preparation of installation instructions and test procedures</li> <li>Preparation of engineering design standards<br /> </li> </ul> <p><strong>The experience you have & skills you bring </strong></p> <ul> <li>Relevant engineering degree, Aeronautical Engineering or relevant field</li> <li>Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar function</li> <li>Proficient in MS Office and popular 2D/3D design software (AutoCad, CATIA)</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English – additionally French and/or German is advantageous</li> <li>Ability to work independently</li> <li>Accurate and strong attention to detail and safety<br /> </li> </ul> <p><strong>What we offer you </strong></p> <ul> <li>Working within an exclusive and international environment</li> <li>Being part of a young and dynamic company with hands-on mentality</li> <li>A multifaceted, challenging and responsible position</li> <li>Attractive employment conditions and social benefits</li> <li>We will apply for the work visa if required / assist with relocation<br /> </li> </ul> <p>Have we sparked your interest in a new professional challenge?
