We are dedicated to maintenance, modification as well as completion projects for mide-size jets, narrow and wide-body aircrafts within the private and business aviation industry.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">We are seeking for a highly experienced and qualified Mechanical Design Engineer – Stress.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Our organization is handling projects for the following Aircraft types:</strong></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Airbus A310 series • Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321 series • Airbus A330 series • Airbus A340 series • Airbus A350 series • Boeing B757/B767 series • Boeing B737 Max Series • Boeing B737 300/400/500 series • Boeing B737 600/700/800/900 series including BBJ 700 (BBJ1)/800 (BBJ2)/900 (BBJ3) • Boeing B777 series • Boeing B787 series • Boeing B747-400/B747-8i • Boeing MD-80 series • Bombardier BD-700 (Global Express/ Global Express XRS/ Global 5000/ Global 5500/ Global 6000/ Global 6500/ Global 7500) series • Bombardier BD-100 series (CL 300/ 350) • Bombardier CL-600-2B16 series (CL 604/ 605/ 650) • Gulfstream II and III Series, GIV (G650/650ER, G450, GV Series, G550, G650, GVI, GVII (G500/ G600) • Pilatus PC-12 series • Pilatus PC-24 series</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Your responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li style="text-align: justify;">Perform static and dynamic analyses as well as fatigue and damage tolerance analyses for cabin completion and modification projects</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Support the Team Leader Mechanical Design Engineering to develop working methods to ensure an efficient work flow</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Ensure correct consideration and application of Certification Basis, Rules and Regulations, Means of Compliance and Interpretations</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Ensure adequate communication and liaison internally, especially with the Engineering Team as well as with external Third Parties</li> </ul> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Your daily tasks</strong></p> <ul> <li style="text-align: justify;">Static, dynamic and fatigue calculations of different installations (e.g. interior monuments, antennae installation, additional water tank, etc.) in airplanes with different methods (e.g. Finite-Element-Analysis and hand calculations).</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Review and approval of drawings and designs for stress aspects</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Work out of repairs and modifications in regard of stress</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Consulting with the mechanical design engineering to achieve light and cost saving structure solutions</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Development of technical as well as safety and certification relevant documentation such like reports, analysis, assessments</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Establishment of FEM models and Structural Substantiation Reports</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Development and procurement of material testing</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Development of engineering standards</li> </ul> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>The experience you have & skills you bring</strong></p> <ul> <li style="text-align: justify;">Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering or relevant field</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Profound knowledge of fundamental physics, technical mechanics, thermodynamics, aerospace technology and materials</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Minimum 5 years structural substantiation experience</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Proactive behaviour with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English – additionally French and/or German is advantageous</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">Experienced FEM user (Femap). Experience with CAD software (AutoCad, CATIA, Solidworks). Proficient in MS Office.
