About this role
<p>Zenon is delighted to be commissioned by one of the UK’s Premier FBO & Maintenance Repair Organisations to source a Nightshift Supervisor on a permanent basis for their facilities based in Stansted.</p> <p>You will be responsible in ensuring the smooth running of the companies facility’s. Ensure that maintenance inputs are correctly resourced and commercial targets are achieved. </p> <p>Main Duties and Responsibilities:-</p> <p>• Carrying out maintenance tasks as directed by the Licensed Engineer and ensuring all relevant paperwork is correctly filled in<br /> • Ensure prompt internal and external customer communications as the primary out of hours contact point. <br /> • Ensuring good housekeeping within the hangar environment and associated workshops. <br /> • Ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant company and Health and Safety procedures.<br /> • So far as quality is concerned, he / she is to ensure that all contract staff under his control are properly directed, have comprehensive work instructions, and adequately briefed on each activity and understand and work to the quality system as defined in part 3 (quality systems) of the company MOE.<br /> • The organisation and control of labour within his/her area of responsibility in conjunction with the licensed engineer.<br /> • The raising of work cards and requisitions as directed by the Licensed Engineer.<br /> • Constantly seek improvement in all activities to maximise productivity and minimise cost.<br /> • Communicating the progress of inputs/projects on a daily basis by written reports and daily meetings.</p> <p>Minimum Skills and Experience:-</p> <p>• Demonstrable experience in a similar role<br /> • Completed a recognised aircraft mechanic apprenticeship<br /> • Computer literate with experience in ERP software and Microsoft Office.<br /> • Full UK Driving Licence</p> <p>Why Choose Zenon Aviation?</p> <p>In the ever changing and dynamic market place, Zenon Aviation knows that the support and care we provide to candidates is vital in assisting you in achieving your career aspirations.
