We are innovators, committed to redesigning and improving public services to fulfil our purpose to impact a better future by "Bringing National Visions to Life". <br /> <br /> <strong>Your Opportunity </strong></p> <p>Serco are currently recruiting experienced and highly motivated dual rated Air Traffic Control Officers (ATCOs) to be a part of a great team based at Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. If successful, you will be responsible for providing Air Traffic Control Services (ATC) to aircraft operating within the OMRK Control Zone and OMRK International Airport. </p> <p> </p> <p>The ideal candidate should have the ability to communicate effectively through conveying a clear and concise information and ideas that engage others and demonstrates Collaboration by demonstrating a proactive team working and collaboration with others, as well as having the ability to work and make correct decisions independently under stress.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Accountabilities </strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform the duties as an Air Traffic Controller (ATCO) within the area of responsibility for either Aerodrome or Approach at RKT Airport</p> </li> <li> <p>Hold and maintain ATCO license for the required ratings including Medical Class III and English </p> </li> <li> <p>Hold and maintain Certificate of Competency in accordance with Local regulations.</p> </li> <li> <p>Apply and work in accordance with Local and federal Aviation regulations including Local Manual. </p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Specific Requirements </strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Validation of Aerodrome ratings rating for a minimum of 2 years</p> </li> <li> <p>Validation of Approach or Terminal ratings for a minimum of 2 years</p> </li> <li> <p>A valid relevant medical certificate </p> </li> <li> <p>Successful completion of the relevant ICAO courses and on-the-job training</p> </li> <li> <p>Hold an ATC License</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent spatial awareness and ability to multitask and re-prioritize as required</p> </li> <li> <p>Language proficiency of minimum Level 4</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What’s in it for you? </strong></p> <p>At Serco, our core values drive everything we do, and we believe in fairly compensating our colleagues for the value they bring to our organization.
