<p>On behalf of Air Atlanta, we are seeking a motivated and detail-driven Materials Controller to join their team at Gatwick. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global wide-body ACMI and charter operator supporting complex aviation operations worldwide. Today, the Air Atlanta brand comprises two sister airlines: Air Atlanta Icelandic, headquartered in Iceland, and Air Atlanta Europe, founded in 2021 in Malta.</p> <p>On offer is a permanent contract with the opportunity to work from home one day per week. <br /> <br /> <strong>Benefits Package:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive remuneration depending on experience</li> <li>WFH potential</li> <li>25 days increasing after 3 years by one day annually to max 30 days</li> </ul> <p><strong>Role Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Right to live and work in the UK.</li> <li>Must be within a commutable distance to RH10 9SA.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying root causes.</li> <li>Excellent organisational and time management abilities.</li> <li>Intermediate or Advanced skills in MS Office, with accuracy in data handling and reporting.</li> <li>Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal.</li> <li>Recognised training accreditation in logistics, engineering, or sciences desirable.</li> <li>Experience with our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) TRAX/eMRO is a strong advantage.</li> <li>Other ERP platform knowledge considered (Quantum, AMOS, WINGS etc)</li> <li>Minimum 2 years’ experience in supply chain, purchasing, engineering or project management within aviation or MRO.</li> <li>Good general knowledge of aircraft components, engineering and terminology.</li> <li>Adaptability, willingness to take ownership and assertiveness.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support material planning, inventory coordination and parts availability to ensure aircraft readiness.</li> <li>Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, maintenance and external partners to meet operational demands.</li> <li>Analyse data, identify root causes of material or logistical issues, and implement proactive solutions.</li> <li>Maintain accurate documentation, reporting and records to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.</li> <li>Communicate clearly with internal teams and suppliers to resolve queries and coordinate material needs.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Application Process:</strong></p> <ol> <li>CV and document submission to AeroProfessional</li> <li>Telephone interview by AeroProfessional</li> <li>Face-to-face interview</li> <li>Potential second interview</li> </ol>
