About this role
<p>We are delighted to be supporting a well-established air charter and management service provider to source a Deputy Ground Operations Manager on a permanent basis based in the Mediterranean.</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p> <ul> <li>Ensure all scheduled flights are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.</li> <li>Address and resolve any interruptions to the planned flight schedule as quickly and effectively as possible.</li> <li>Carry out accurate flight planning, including preparation of flight documentation, flight plans, overflight and diplomatic clearances, and any other required briefing materials for both daily operations and future planning.</li> <li>Provide regular updates to the Operations Manager regarding daily operational activities.</li> <li>Take responsibility for a range of operational projects within the flight operations function, including but not limited to the Emergency Response Plan, Operations Manuals, audits, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).</li> <li>Ensure appropriate actions are implemented within the department following audits or inspections.
