About this role
<p>For senior managers & staff involved in designing, implementing & managing Safety Management Systems within an aviation environment, this 3 day course is ideal for those starting out and for those wishing to update thier current skills & knowledge.</p> <p>Course content includes:</p> <ul> <li>concept of & background to SMS</li> <li>the regulatory requirement & its impacts</li> <li>accountabilities, roles & responsibilities</li> <li>design & implementation of an SMS</li> <li>hazard identification & risk assessment</li> <li>risk control & mitigation</li> <li>implementing MOC processes</li> <li>understanding the safety assurance function</li> <li>effective SMS promotion</li> </ul> <p>Based on ICAO, EU-OPS, IOSA & IOSA standards, this course contains practical hands-on exercises and requires active participation from attendees. It is suitable for any branch branch of aviation activity, from commercial operations to maintenance, airfields to training organisations.</p> <p>Attendees need not necesarily have experience of Safety Management Systems, but should be aware of the ICAO/EASA requirements.</p> <p>This course is also available in-house if required.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
