If so, apply for the role of Operations Quality and Safety Assurance Officer today!</p> <p>Oaklands Global is delighted to be recruiting an Operations Quality and Safety Assurance Officer to join our Leading UK Airline Client.</p> <p><br /> ** This is a permanent opportunity based in the Oxfordshire area **</p> <p>** Salary & benefits package to be confirmed **</p> <p><strong>Primary Job Purpose</strong></p> <ul> <li>Monitoring compliance of the Company’s Flight Operations department with regulatory, legislative and company requirements, whilst maintaining a focus on operational safety throughout.</li> <li>Supporting the effective implementation and management of the EASA OPS Management System to fulfil the requirements of the contract, all applicable regulations, company standards and procedures.</li> <li>Fulfil an active role in continually developing the effectiveness of key processes and activities within the Compliance Department, particularly hazard identification and risk management.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Carry out diligent internal and external audits in line with the EASA OPS Compliance Monitoring Programme to demonstrate compliance with regulatory, legislative and company requirements whilst reviewing effectiveness of company processes and procedures.</li> <li>Perform meticulous operational safety occurrence investigations to establish root cause, determine corrective and mitigating actions and risk assess such occurrences in line with ATrS risk assessment processes.</li> <li>Actively support the continual development and management of the EASA OPS Management System.</li> <li>Perform thorough analysis of audit and investigation findings related to operational safety and compliance issues, and aid the generation of trend reports by the Operations Quality & Safety Assurance Manager.</li> <li>Facilitate the administration and control of the company AQD audit finding and incident reporting system to ensure that the sufficient assessment and correction of such safety and compliance issues are adequately documented and recorded.</li> <li>Perform spot-checks and audits of subcontractors, specialist services and vendors in relation to the performance of contracted activities to assure continued compliance with both regulatory and contractual requirements.</li> <li>Be responsible for bringing to the attention of line management, any nonconformities and / or opportunities for improvement that are identified via spot checks, audits and investigations.</li> <li>Be personally responsible for delivering a safe service in all facets of the role in line with the requirements of the Safety Policy.</li> </ul> <p><strong> Knowledge and Experience</strong></p> <p><strong>Essential</strong></p> <ul> <li>Detailed understanding of the EASA Regulatory structure and EASA OPS regulations</li> <li>Demonstrates a proactive and confident attitude to all facets of the role</li> <li>High level of personal integrity</li> <li>Experience in an airline quality or safety environment</li> <li>A sound background in an airline operations organisation</li> <li>Experience of exercising quality oversight of contracted activities</li> <li>Demonstrable ability to autonomously conduct audits and produce accurate reports.</li> <li>Experience in auditing Flight and Cabin Crew operations</li> <li>Highly knowledgeable on EASA Flight Time Limitations</li> <li>Excellent computer literacy, report writing, language and communication skills, analysis ability and interpersonal skills.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in A330 operations</li> <li>Conversant with aviation specific database software such as AQD.</li> <li>Experience of ARMS methodology for Operational Risk Assessment.</li> <li>Experience of Safety Management Systems, hazard analysis and risk assessment.</li> <li>Knowledge of compliance monitoring requirements and methods.</li> <li>Conversant with Human Factors and Fatigue Management</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Information </strong></p> <p>Due to the nature of the organisation, all employees are required to be security cleared to SC level. If successful in your application we would support you with the SC process.
