About this role

<p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li>To support the CAE OAA Head of Training to achieve the effective, safe and standardised delivery of all Ground Training. This will be achieved by: <ul> <li>Managing and taking primary ownership for the quality, timely and safe delivery of all aspects of Integrated and Modular ground training and testing, in accordance with the appropriate approved syllabi, and associated reporting requirements.</li> <li>Managing the performance and training, including when required any disciplinary action, for all ground training staff to meet all internal and external demands.</li> <li>Understanding, complying with and fulfilling the requirements of the relevant Regulatory Authority as the nominated holder of the Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor position.</li> <li>Making a contribution to both the training and testing of CAE OAA students</li> </ul> </li> </ol> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ol> <li>To maintain the very highest standards of customer service and care for all CAE OAA trainees &nbsp;in Ground Training by ensuring they are comprehensively appraised and reported upon to the highest professional standards as determined by the Head of Training.<br /> &nbsp;</li> <li>To be responsible for the management, welfare and pastoral care of all CAE OAA students undergoing courses of ground training, in conjunction with Manager - Customer Services.&nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;</li> <li>To ensure that the good name of CAE OAA is always maintained to include: <ul> <li>&nbsp;Maintaining an ongoing programme of improvement and development of the ground training activities.</li> <li>Developing and implementing effective ground training courses and training syllabi to maximise the efficiency of the department and performance success for all OAA students.</li> <li>Managing personal development programmes for all staff in the Ground Training department.</li> </ul> </li> </ol> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Personal Qualifications:</p> <ol> <li>Meet the Regulatory Authority requirements for the &nbsp;Theoretical Knowledge Instructor.</li> <li>Maintain the necessary personal qualifications and skills to enable the above responsibilities to be conducted effectively.</li> <li>Have an extensive background in aviation training management.</li> <li>Possess above average instructional ability.</li> </ol> <p>&nbsp;</p>
