<p><strong>Technical Project Manager Aerospace </strong></p> <p>To enhance our aerospace development team at the headquarters in Sachseln we are looking for a responsible person with initiative to take on the position of Technical Project Manager Aerospace</p> <p>maxon motor is the worldwide leading provider of high-precision drive systems. For the past 50 years, we have focused on customer-specific solutions, quality, and innovation.</p> <p><strong>Your assignment </strong></p> <p>As Technical Project Manager you are responsible for the technical development, deadlines and cost-effective development of both modified motor and gearbox products and new development drive systems for aerospace customers. You take on the role of system engineer for the combination of various subassemblies (both internally and externally sourced). You act as a key contact between the R&amp;D, quality, production, process engineering and purchasing departments.</p> <p>You act as the customer's extended arm, helping to make constructive improvements in the process. Thanks to your experience and your knowledge of the aerospace industry, you actively coordinate the communication between all parties involved in the project. This position will primarily involve working on manned and un-manned aircraft projects.</p> <p><strong>Your profile </strong></p> <p>After finishing your university degree (preferably in mechanical, electrical, or materials &amp; process engineering), you have gained proven experience with projects (preferentially in the aerospace industry). Ideally, you have experience with precision products and manufacturing processes in particular those processes needed for ultra-high reliability applications. Knowledge of space-standard manufacturing processes would be an advantage.</p> <p>You have an excellent command of spoken as well as written English and have at least a good working knowledge of German. You are a team player with good communication skills, you are a solution-oriented person who can skillfully plan projects and bring them to a successful conclusion. Prior experience of electrical actuators would be an advantage.
