About this role

<p><strong>On behalf of our prestigious client Aeroprofessional are seeking to appoint a Manager Regulatory Affairs to initiate and be prepared to lead discussions on policy making covering a variety of strategic and technical issues affecting the company. You must be highly motivated, articulate, and energetic. Literacy in other European languages is helpful.</strong></p> <p><strong>The role is a full-time office based role divided between the UK offices and 50% of the time will require regular travel within Europe with overnight stays.</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><strong>A background in the airline industry and a keen interest in the commercial, technical and strategic challenges facing the airline industry in Europe are essential</strong></li> <li><strong>Ideally, we are looking for someone who has who has a public policy, European affairs/Government Affairs or even a legal background with experience of lobbying in the industry.</strong></li> <li><strong>Knowledge of European regulatory processes are essential. </strong></li> <li><strong>You must be highly articulate and able to express him/herself clearly and confidently</strong></li> <li><strong>You must be able to construct reasoned and logical arguments to defend company positions before senior decisions makers, regulators, and industry experts</strong></li> <li><strong>You must have a flexible approach and be happy to travel frequently between the UK and Europe</strong></li> </ul>
