<p>Zenon are currently searching for a Senior Maintenance Manager for a permanent opportunity with a successful airline based in Central Asia. </p> <p>Our client is an award-winning scheduled airline operating an extensive domestic and international route network, is seeking applicants for the permanent position of Senior Manager Maintenance Astana. The position is based in a modern and vibrant city.</p> <p>Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, the Senior Manager Maintenance will be responsible for managing all aircraft maintenance activities for our clients second largest base. This includes a fleet comprising of 757, 767, A320CEO/NEO family, Embraer E190 and the aircraft of other operators under line support agreements. Operating from a modern, newly completed Technical Centre, the successful candidate will lead a growing line maintenance team operating a 24/7 shift pattern.</p> <p>Your role will ensure and enhance the highest standards of safety, reliability and compliance with EASA Part-145 and maintenance regulations, whilst ensuring high levels of technical dispatch reliability, defect rectification and optimum productivity. This position will suit a person with a hands on approach to management and prepared to lead by example.</p> <p>Our client is preparing to increase base maintenance capability and plans to perform in-house C-checks at Astana in the future. As the Senior Manager Maintenance Astana you will become a key member of this development.</p> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Salary</li> <li>Relocation assistance</li> <li>Company benefits</li> </ul> <p>The Senior Manager Maintenance is the head of aircraft maintenance and you will:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure that the Director Maintenance and Maintenance Control Centre, are kept informed of maintenance events.</li> <li>Manage all line maintenance functions and personnel, ensuring compliance with EASA Part-145 and local regulations and maintain aircraft to the highest standards of safety and airworthiness.</li> <li>Manage manpower effectively and productively to optimise resources, ensuring that all maintenance activities and defect rectification are achieved in a timely and safe manner acceptable to the authorities and company quality standards.</li> <li>Ensure that appropriate supervision, training and assessment is performed in a timely manner to develop staff competence levels.</li> <li>Ensure technical dispatch reliability meets company targets and seek continuous improvement.</li> <li>Ensure sufficient maintenance equipment and facilities are available to accomplish the required maintenance at all times.</li> </ul> <p>Position Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Holder of an Engineering Degree or equivalent graduate diploma is essential for work permit requirements.</li> <li>Minimum 10 years aircraft maintenance experience working for an airline. Ideally you will have experience of both line and base maintenance.</li> <li>Minimum 5 years management experience in a similar position.</li> <li>Holder of EASA B1 or B2 aircraft maintenance license or equivalent.</li> <li>Proven maintenance experience on the fleet types mentioned above will be an advantage.</li> <li>Strong managerial skills are essential with the ability to provide clear direction. </li> <li>You must have exceptional people skills and able to inspire and motivate teams.</li> <li>Good organisational skills are necessary, with ability to prioritise and make tactical decisions with minimal supervision.</li> <li>You will be a confident communicator, able to drive others to achieve goals in a collaborative manner, while enhancing relationships between departments.</li> <li>Will be able to fluently read, write, speak, and understand the English language</li> </ul> <p>In the ever-changing and dynamic marketplace, Zenon Aviation knows that the support and care we provide to candidates is vital in assisting you in achieving your career aspirations.
