<p><strong>Job summary</strong></p> <p>As part of our management and directorial projects we are currently recruiting for a Planning & Engineering Unit Manager to join the operation of one of our MRO clients in China.</p> <p>Some of the most relevant responsibilities of this position are:</p> <ul> <li>Ensuring that all necessary engineering data and resources are available to accomplish engineering activities.</li> <li>Aircraft weighting.</li> <li>To review and implement actions in response to AD, SB and SL.</li> <li>Reviewing the maintenance programmes and send it to operators for approval, develop schedule, instructions, task-cards, job cards for aircraft/aircraft component maintenance.</li> <li>Defining, launching and monitoring contracted and subcontracted maintenance tasks.</li> <li>Preparing and launching the tasks according to the work order/contract and verifying they are carried out following the current rules and procedures.</li> <li>Maintaining the programme efficiency.</li> <li>Be responsible for liaison with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM).</li> <li>Granting an efficient allocation of unit resources, implementation of performance indicators.</li> <li>Conducting negotiations with customers on the technical and commercial issues of aircraft maintenance.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics Science or engineering aviation.</li> <li>Min 7 years of experience in Part-145 Base/Line Maintenance organization, and with min 3 years of planning experience is preferred.</li> <li>Holding a valid CAAC or EASA part 66 license, type-rated on Airbus A319/A320/A321 CFM/V2500 or/and Boeing B737-6/7/8/9. CAT C license is preferred.</li> <li>Strong leadership capabilities.</li> <li>Excellent analytical, organization and planning skills.</li> </ul>
