Hangar Shift Supervisor

<p>Zenon is delighted to be commissioned by one of the UK’s Premier FBO & Maintenance Repair Organisations to source a Hangar Shift Supervisor on a permanent basis for their facilities based in Stansted.</p> <p>You will be responsible in ensuring the smooth running of the companies facility’s. Ensure that maintenance inputs are correctly resourced and commercial targets are achieved. </p> <p>Minimum Skills and Experience:-</p> <ul> <li>The procurement, organisation and control of labour and ensuring that such staff is adequately trained and competent</li> <li>To deputise the deputy head of maintenance in ensuring the hangar manpower plan is accurate and updated</li> <li>The acquisition, control and deployment of any additional labour as deemed to be required to maintain sufficient manning levels and ensuring that such staff is adequately trained and competent</li> <li>Notify the Senior Hangar supervisor / Head of Maintenance and Quality Manager of any variations in the staffing levels and particularly where potential shortfalls against the future workload forecast are foreseen</li> <li>Liaising with customers and department managers with reference to production issues and status</li> <li>Constantly seek improvement in all activities to maximise productivity and minimise cost</li> <li>To ensure that all maintenance inputs are delivered on time and to budget</li> <li>The day-to-day safe running of the respective hangars</li> <li>Ensuring good housekeeping within the hangar environment and associated workshops</li> <li>Ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant company quality, health and safety procedures and policies</li> <li>So far as quality is concerned, he/she is to ensure that all staff under his/her control are properly directed, have comprehensive work instructions and adequately briefed on each activity, understand and work to the quality and safety system as defined in the company MOE and procedures</li> <li>To identify critical path and prioritise day and nightshift duties</li> <li>Maintaining the hangar input schedule to ensure accurate data is available in support of the production planning and sales functions</li> <li>Ensuring compliance with the company safety management system in respect of actively advocating, promoting, and implementing safety policy – identification, assessment and resolution of risk hazards, ensuring operational safety in the workplace, implementing corrective actions within required timescales, ensuring all directly reporting staff are trained and remain actively aware and comply with the requirements of the company safety management system</li> </ul> <p>Why Choose Zenon Aviation?</p> <p>In the ever changing and dynamic market place, Zenon Aviation knows that the support and care we provide to candidates is vital in assisting you in achieving your career aspirations.
