<p><strong>Quality Assurance Officer</strong></p> <p><strong>Make a difference every day</strong></p> <p>The Job Opportunity</p> <p>The Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for the development and implementation of the Quality Assurance Program for GCANS. To work as part of a Quality / Safety Assurance team to provide document control as well as quality oversight of operational standards and to support incident investigations.</p> <p>Key accountabilities</p> <ul> <li>Continued development and implementation of the Quality Program for GCANS and implementation of a Compliance Programme aligned to operational needs</li> <li>Work within a team of safety & standards officers ensuring alignment in delivery of the Programme </li> <li>Deliver and promote the values of Serco and ensure that all staff achieve and maintain all Safety & Standards in line with appropriate regulations</li> <li>Maintain and manage the Quality Assurance Programme and deliver and embed this work within all departments</li> <li>Assist other departments in documentation development and ensure compliance to the QMM</li> <li>Assist other members of the team with Assurance related projects, safety related initiatives and developments associated with operational oversight</li> </ul> <p>What we are looking for in our candidates:</p> <ul> <li>Flexibility, excellent attention to detail, ability to identify key issues and manage an environment of regular change.</li> <li>Ability to think strategically, execute quickly and adjust plans to meet organisational needs</li> <li>Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet tight deadlines and schedules.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills; ability to work with complex issues and detailed information</li> <li>Intuitive with outstanding interpersonal influencing and communication skills; able to develop and motivate others.</li> <li>Ability to see problems as opportunities and to manage well under pressure</li> </ul> <p>Specific requirements</p> <ul> <li>Applicable level qualification in related operational field with further studies and or qualifications relevant to Quality Assurance</li> <li>Experience in the implementation and maintenance of a standards and compliance programme</li> <li>Q&A experience with an Air Navigation Service Provider sector within ATC environment.</li> <li>Experience in building strong relationships and positively influencing clients.</li> <li>Conversant with the requirements of all current relevant legislation.</li> <li>Experience in a multi-cultural environment an asset</li> </ul> <p>Working with Serco</p> <p>At Serco, not only is the nature of the work we do important, everyone has important role to play. </p> <p><a href="https://www.serco.com/me" rel="no-follow">https://www.serco.com/me</a></p> <p>We are a team of 50,000 people responsible for delivering essential public services around the world in areas including defence, transport, justice, immigration, healthcare and citizen services.
