<p><strong>AeroProfessional is delighted to work with its East-Midlands based client who is now looking to recruit a Safety Manager.</strong></p> <p><strong>Our client is one of Europe’s most trusted suppliers of dedicated cargo aircraft solutions to the Integrated Express and Mail industries. They have special expertise in cargo aircraft leasing, financing and operational support.<br /> <br /> Our client has one of the most versatile air fleets in the business. Global dedicated cargo airline specialized in safe, reliable and efficient delivery of mail and express freight using BAE-ATP-F, Bombardier CRJ200PF, Boeing 737 and B767 Aircraft.<br /> <br /> Reporting directly to the Accountable Manager, the Safety Manager is responsible for and focal point of the administration, implementation, development, and maintenance of an effective Safety Management System (SMS).</strong></p> <p><br /> <strong>The ideal candidate for the role of Safety Manager will have a knowledge of ICAO standards and European requirements and provisions on safety management and will also have 5 years of relevant work experience, of which at least 2 years should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position.</strong></p> <p><br /> <strong>This is a full time permanent position with a Monday - Friday work pattern , with some flexibility with the option of hybrid working.</strong></p> <p><strong>Role Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Ability to hold form 4 position for Safety Manager under UK Ops and Part CAMO regulations.</strong></li> <li><strong>Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices;</strong></li> <li><strong>Knowledge of UK Ops and Part CAMO / M regulations. Understanding of other relevant regulations.</strong></li> <li><strong>Flexible, Self Motivated, Team Player with the ability to work collaboratively across all elements of the organisation.</strong></li> <li><strong>Right to live and work in the UK</strong></li> <li><strong>5 years of relevant work experience, of which at least 2 years should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position.</strong></li> <li><strong>Basic safety investigation techniques; and </strong></li> <li><strong>Human factors principals.</strong></li> </ul>
